High quality gym for sure. 80% of the place is lead only and mostly overhanging. You bring your own rope and gri gri over. There’s about 7 auto belays and 3 top rope stations. The work out area is very decent. There’s an upstairs area where you can eat. It’s also where the bathroom and change rooms are. They get you to take off your shoes even before you enter the gym so the gym is actually pretty clean (albeit the chalk lol) and the boulder walls are more for warming up than actual climbing.
I do appreciate the lead only area. It attracts a different crowd of climbers and everyone is more aware of their surroundings. I’ve been to crowded gyms where top ropers are completely unaware of where lead climbers are as they try and climb right under their fall zones. It’s not an issue if staff are more diligent on monitoring safety. But that’s not always the case... which is why I highly recommend this place because well, to me, that’s a dream gym for...
Read moreOne of the best climbing gyms I have been in my travels around the world. I love the fact they have placed a high priority on lead climbing and not mixed them with the top rope or auto-belay area. The lead climbing is almost all over hung, which makes a great work to get the endurance for climbing outdoors. Routes are very well thought out combining boulder problems with rope climbing cruxes. I look forward to climbing there again and anytime I cannot get to the outdoors to climb. Overall this is a great gym to experience rock climbing and great a...
Read moreAmazing gym. Very Modern and clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Not often do you see a gym that's mostly lead climbing. They have a small area for top-rope and auto-belay. Wall is not textured and floor is not matted. Neither is an issue...just something I noticed. Price for the day was around 450TWD I think.
Setting was comparable to other gyms. Very nice problems. Would recommend for anyone visiting the area who wants to climb.
Also, easy to get...
