A fun place to be a tourist! Walk along the boardwalk near the boat docks and stare at the beautiful Lover’s Bridge. The boardwalk has many stalls with restaurants, bars and gifts. There are also fun carnival games where you can throw darts at balloons and win stuffed animal prizes.

Facing the lit-up bridge, there are a couple of comfortable chairs you can use to kick back and relax. You are more than welcome to purchase alcohol to-go from stalls and take them to the harbor banks to enjoy the cool breeze. Make sure to bring mosquito repellant if you get bit easily!

Bathrooms available.

There is a neat looking stage where performers sing once in a while.

Harbor does not reek of petrol, which tells me the boats are of clean standard. Calming to visit during the night. A bus stop lies very close to the Wharf, you can easily take the bus from Tamsui for 15NT each way. The busses do not give change back so make sure you have the correct...

Great place to visit. Especially for family and couples. Many people come here for the scenery of Sunset. It was too bad that we arrived at 6 which is already dark. Since COVID-19, there are much less visitors and people. We went on the Sunday evening, and it wasn't busy at all. There are not much choices of restaurants there, so we chose a Japanese restaurant. I will review that restaurant separately. Overall, it's great to visit here once for a while. I highly recommend to visit on the weekdays if possible when there are less people. I also highly recommend it as a...

This sounded like a fun place to go but it was actually really boring. We went in the late afternoon and a bunch of stuff was closed, maybe it’s more fun during the evening or on weekends? After you get off the boat (the boat was fun) there is a long board walk with shops and restaurants, most of which were closed at 3:30-4:00, and the ones that were open were nothing special. The water and boats where pretty to look at. Maybe you could come at night and take a picnic? It’s definitely not a full evening or...

A nice place to see sunset and some exotic buildings, take some good photos. I use to sitting on the long wooden porch on riverside, breezing, view the river, sea and sky. Waiting for sunset, then go back via the white arch shape lover’s bridge or take the ferry to the Tamsui old street and seeing night view along the riverbank. A very casual place but sometimes meaning boring, feel depends on who you’re going with.
