Guanziling Hot Spring — Attraction in Tainan

A relaxing way to enjoy the mountain area. A group of us shared 2 rooms, one for women and the other for men. You can fill the concrete tub to the water level you want.

They charge by the hour and one hour is sufficient. There isn’t much mud in the water as they don’t want to clog up their drainage. It’s best to use both the hot and cold tubs which are therapeutic.

There’s a restaurant next door where you can enjoy their popular fish hot pot. The portion was big. Must have the chicken with broth!

For all the gaijin. This is a naked single sex place. Women turn left and men turn right. Once inside pull back the curtain strip off completely shower and slip into the muddy 44.5 °C water with a bunch of other guys. The other pool is much colder and there are two areas to sit and chill. An interesting experience for a novice. The water is very nice though and i felt very good afterwards. Just dont think you will be sat with your girl in a hot pool chilling in your swimsuit.
