For the price you pay, you would expect top tier service and a fully functioning hotel. Instead, here is a hotel that seems to have never been finished and is open while under construction. In our 5 days here, the men's toilet in the lobby was out of order the whole time, our toilet backed up with normal use, the only elevator that goes to our floor we've out for several hours, and our bathroom flooded because the housekeeping staff left water on under the counter so we came home to a gushing waterfall poring onto our floor. When they came to fix it, one engineer tracked water through the rest of the room. Then they sent three people to clean it up who only mopped the floor without wiping dry the water all over the shelves or removing a soaked hair dryer.
Windows have no screens so you need to be extra careful if you have children. The breakfast is pretty bad with the same poor options every day and while there should be two elevators that go to every floor, one of them only goes up to 3 so you have to transfer there if you need to go higher. The parking spaces are so small that there's no way for people to park without being so close to each other it's really hard to get in or out of your car.
The in room hot spring was nice but definitely not worth the headache of everything else being a big disappointment, a major annoyance, or a flat out safety issue. Stongly do...
Read moreThe location of the hotel is not too bad but it seems that it is part of 3 hotels, if you want to use the common hot spring you have to go to another hotel and if other guests from other hotels wants breakfast they have to come to this hotel. The room we were given is big but the aircon is hard to manage, when I switch off one which is the more powerful one it becomes quite warm making my travel mates suffer. There are 3 of us and we thought we will get a double bed and a single, in the end, there were 3 beds in all plus there is a sitting area so the room is big. We also have hot spring in the bathroom so we dont have to leave the room at all. The hotel is also near a carpark that you can view sunset and also the hot spring with fire is nearby. There are eateries and a minimart nearby so there is no lack of food choices. Breakfast is on the top floor where you can enjoy good views but it is a smoking area. Food wise the choice is very limited and the food is replenished at a...

This is good. |I have done hot springs (I can't say all over the world because I haven't been all over the world.) But I chase them and have been to a fair few places including most of the wild ones in New Zealand three or four times.|This is as good as it gets. Different because it is my own room. But easier to Zen out in meditation because of that. |One of the public hot springs in Australia (Peninsula Hot Springs, an hour out of Melbourne, used to have one, just one, "quiet pool" but they stopped policing it and then abandoned it all together.|This will do me well for a couple of nights. And I have not even looked at the public open...
