National Cheng Kung University Museum — Attraction in Tainan

Here is a summary of what happened to me in the lobby of NCKU Museum during a brief, aborted visit on Friday, 18 March 2022, in the form of those W/H questions.

Dear NCKU Museum:

I would like to report an unpleasant experience I had this afternoon in the museum lobby area.

After making a few inquiries regarding the pandemic prevention measures, a lady employee (a vounteer?) sitting at the registration table totally disregarded the fact that I was a guest and spoke as if she was at home and NOT AT WORK.  (Doesn't she know that the customer is always right?)

I then made it known that I was American, implying that I was accustomed to politeness and good customer service.  This made no difference to her, however, as she replied that Taiwanese and Americans were treated equally at the museum.

Next, I asked her if she was at work, but she held her tongue and ignored this question completely.

Eventually I made up my mind to no longer tolerate her attitude and left.

Upon exiting the museum, I went immediately to the security guard station nearby and lodged a complaint with a female security guard on duty who advised me to lodge a formal complaint on the museum's...

Large and old university. No wifi for guest. A few people can speak english. You should prepare in details when...
