Corner Steak House — Restaurant in Tainan

I had high hope for the dishes at this restaurant (we both ordered stake) and it's setting per pictures as shown on their website, unfortunately, the food were quite a disappointment to me and my friend with less than satisfactory service (lack friendliness with ZERO introduction to their menu until we waved one of the waitress, even so, it was nearing to the point of "take it or leave it" attitude... for the price and the environment I assumed the owner(s) tried to establish a higher class restaurant, yet with the unsatisfactory service there is need for Much Improvement. As we were leaving the restaurant, another waitress at the cash register said to me that I have yet to pay my bill (which was quite disturbing and embarrassing as I had already paid 10 minutes prior to leaving) yet, there was no apology 👎 except "oh you did"... WTH! As to Would I recommend this restaurant, NO! There are many places where you can better spent your money with much better tasting dishes. I guess the only thing I liked (my friend too) were the Cheesecake; even the ice tea it was something you can absolutely...

Upscale restaurant known for it's steak. Many customers also ordered lobster (sirf and turf) while we were there. Meals are sets where you choose your main course, appetizer, soup, salad, dessert, and drink. Prices are in photo below. A bread roll and a little olive oil/balsamic vinegar is provided. I've had the steak here before and it's good. Tried the pork knuckle this time and also good. My wife tried the duck which was ok, but we'll both get steak next time. The sides selection are a little limited, especially drinks. It would be nice to have a bigger selection for a drink with your meal besides wine or water (sparkling available for NT50/person). It was my wife's birthday - if you let them know beforehand, they will provide a small cake and sing "happy birthday" if you want. Overall experience was good and will...
