However, my interaction with the staff was a letdown. When I inquired about a painting priced at 400,000 TWD, I was met with reluctance to provide any information beyond the price. This approach is surprising for a gallery of this caliber. Art is an investment, not a commodity, and potential buyers deserve at least basic details about the piece, such as its provenance, the artist’s background, or its significance.

By failing to provide this information, the gallery risks undermining its credibility and alienating serious collectors. For an institution that clearly values artistry, it’s essential to ensure that the customer experience reflects the same level of professionalism and respect.
