Went on a cold 18 deg evening thinking of staying a couple of hours. To start there was not many lockers and don't choose ones with fraid rist bands as the dont lock but still take your money. Kept finding lockers full of belongings because of the broken locks. Not enough showers as I had to wait a turn to wash. Main pools are all the same temp extremely uncomfortably #/%kin hot 45-50c. Most locals sit on the sides with only feet in the water. A cold pool at 20c and a 28c pool with massage fountains that spray large amounts of water to everywhere including others sitting in it because the other pools are too hot. If it wasn't for the plastic walls you would spray water into the neibouring hot pool making it colder. The funniest part after 30mins that made me leave was the sauna. So much steam that I couldn't see and had to feel my way hoping that I didn't touch someone's private parts looking for the bench. It must have looked so funny from the outside as the lights make a shadow on the glass walls. I guess this is a feature to stop people being naughty inside. So I give a rating of 1 star. $200NT entry if u bring your own...
Read moreAmazing! The wooden and stone aesthetic is very beautiful. It also feels like you're in the nature as there's a partially open roof where you can see the forest from. There's even a river rushing by next door. I came on a wet day and it was perfect.
There's 4 baths. 1 is warm with amazing spraying showers that can massage your back, or perhaps knock an old man over. 2 of the pools are hot with varying temperatures. The last pool is a circle with cold water and water rushing upwards from the middle, perfect for cooling off.
There's also a sauna which is so steamy you can barely see. It's not so hot inside, mostly just steamy.
No towel is provided, but there's shampoo and shower gel.
The clientele was a mix of ages, not just old men on a Saturday at 1pm. An older gentleman even chatted with me briefly in English.
250 felt steep but after being there, I think it's an okay price.
I recommend washing off afterwards so you don't smell of...
Read moreI was here before covid and now more recently in 2024. My review is for the public area. The public hot spring area is absolutely filthy. The place is not well maintained or even cleaned. A good number of the lockers dont work, the floors have mounds of dirt and grime caked in with alot of stuff swept to the edges. The washroom floors you could see a gradient from yellowish grime, brown to black on the edges from years of uncleaned floors. Faucets and facilities are caked with filth and rust. The structure above the baths you can see tiny mountains of dust and mold. Its very clear that they dont really bother properly clean since the build up of grime that visible would take years and could very easily be cleaned with proper equipment.
No photos to share as it is a public hot spring, I strongly do not recommend visiting until they clean the place properly but if you do visit see for yourself if this review...
