Read moreFree to visit but likely week day is best with lesser local crowds and international visitors. It is a steep climb for the physical fit or those whom "can" tolerate such a hike up to the small mount of 184 meters above the sea level. People with cardiovascular and/or respiratory conditions should reconsider this hike. However; there's AED equipment seen on the top of the mount rest area. Weak, elders, and children will have sections of few seats available "in sections" along the hike. Steep, small, and clean nature hike route paved with cobble stones, one way to go up and one way to get down. Be very careful with "all ages". Especially with the small children, do not run, and parents please hold their hands. This is a hiking route with "NO" safety guard rail. I've seen parents frustrated and struggled during the hike. Once you get on the mount top, it's amazing full view to see the entire Taipei skyline, especially on a good sunny day. Bring mosquito repellent, you'll needed it. No trash can seen on this hike, bring your own trash...
Read moreA pleasure trail experience to breath and enjoy nature. It took me 1 hour to slowly finish the whole walk. April 7th, 2025.
I recommend to start with the right path (yellow) when you reach the first turn, use the advantage of your full energy for hard steps because the other left path (blue) is easier to walk, and you can enjoy more beautiful sightseeings on the return route.
There are many beautiful flowers, nice leaves, butterflies and bugs, also rarely snails, squirrels and bird.
Enjoy...
