It's a nice trail in the forest, letting you feel nature and peace. The trail is easy to follow and it's only a 1.3 km trail (one way). There are several sections made by stairs and wood boards. It is not specially strenuous but it is probably not recommended if you have a poor physical condition. I believe it is better for regular hikers than for simple tourists because most of the trail is in the forest and you get only, a few times, a good view on the mountain and Taroke Gorge entrance. Read moreNot technically difficult but physically challenging walk. To get to the end of the route you need to climb up a ridiculous number of wooden steps with very few occasion for a rest. The view is however very rewarding, as the Asia Cement plant looks from the distance like a fantasy-gothic cathedral. I enjoyed the walk very much....
