Damian Dolphin tour — Attraction in Unguja

Damian did a great job, met him on the beach at bottom the Kwanza resort. It was our first day here on our honeymoon and we were a bit apprehensive at first but after a very pricy trip organised by the hotel that didn’t blow our socks off we thought we give it a go. Damian was great, very helpful and polite with a wide knowledge of the area. Comparing this to the hotel, Damian was much better as for a smaller cost we got a private boat which with hotel was shared. The food was better than the hotel ( my wife and I aren’t into shellfish and stressed this to Damian) we got fresh bbq grill swordfish and full chicken breast with salad and fruit where as with the hotel just chips and deep friend chicken wings. Damian gave us free water, soft drink and beer if you wanted it. The hotel’s venture gave us water and pop and tried to make us pay to go the loo with our meal which was bloody ridiculous. Activity wise Damien’s snorkelling masks were much better not steaming up every 2 minutes as with hotel who claimed they were diving masks- they weren’t. After a lengthy boat ride we went to mangroves, saw monkeys, went snorkelling and found starfish which Damian got photos of us with (we then retired the starfish to the sea). After which we ended up in a sandbank island and had a dreamy bbq on the beach, under shaded table and chairs. As we were pretty sunburnt we didn’t want to stay to long a Damian was more than happy to depart early and take us home. He even offered to take us for more snorkelling if we wanted as he seemed to just want to make the experience as good a possible. A great day out. Can...

I found Damian on google whilst looking for an experience of swimming with dolphins in Zanzibar.

We ended up swimming with the dolphins, snorkelling, having a bbq lunch on the sandbar, going to Old Stonetown & getting to the airport with Damian!

We also had a problem with a cash machine and Damian sorted it out for us. He was incredibly generous, punctual and helpful. He is responsive & a great communicator with good English.

We had a perfectly orginazed trip to the Reef and the sandbank. Every part of it was well organized from the pick up at the hotel till we were back again. Both us grown ups and our kids (6, 9 and 12 years) had an amazing day. We were snorkeling at the coral. All the equipment was made ready for us in advance. They provided lifejackets and snorkeling gear according to size. Damian organized the trip, the boat Captain and the seaman we had was very helpfull and professional. We had a tastfull and delicious meal with nicely made barbecue. It was done hygenicaly and they served: vegetables, fresh seafood, fruits and icecold drinks (with more).
