Bangsaen Beach — Attraction in Chon Buri Province

This place is within reach for 1 hr 45 mns van ride from Ekamai Bus Station for 100 baht per person and a convenient drop off to the roundabout main beach area.

Very few tourist come most visitors are local people, this is not a tourist place but an easy and cheap to explore and view the beach, the water is dirty brown lifebouy can be rented small to big sizes ranging price to 30 to 50 baht while a seat is for 100 baht.

This long beach has 8 lifeguard houses with active radio communication device to ensure safety crowd, families come here for fresh air, jetski and riding a banana rubber boat, grilled chicken and drinks are everywhere there are lot of bit expensive seafood prawn, crab, squid, cuttlefish and horseshoe crab around during daytime but can be bargain when it is later 8 to 9 pm.

Very popular with Thai's, especially on public holidays. Many seafood restaurants along the beach front with seating and cover. Food was ok, probably a little overrated in my opinion , many vendors also will come and sell items. Prices are a little higher than normal but you are enjoying the provided seating and shade, so ok value. Thai's come to eat and sleep then go home. Sea was very dirty (nice green colour) . Not many people swimming. I was told by a Thai, its a problem with weed and the waste pipes emptying into the bay. The restaurant worker suggested that l don't go swimming. Nice long board walk that goes all the ways to the walking street. Parking very limited on public holidays, best to visit during the week. There are better beaches...

This is recommended for Thai weekend getaway only because majority of the people who are here are Zero English. For 1hr & 30mins. 200 baht fare back and forth not bad for road trip to visit. From van the first hotel you will see is the Beach Resort others far to walk which is the advantage of this accommodation, Sea view is 1,800 for overnight, Pool view 1,600 and Regular 1,300 with buffet Thai breakfast. The beach is dirty I will not recommend it for you, better go to Pattaya, beach activities are what you can do only here. A lot of vendors selling sea foods accessible to Mc'Donald, pharmacy, club and other fast-food chain. What to do here if your a foreigner?
