This was part of the Phan Nga Bay tour. Is this review biased? Yes! Don't go by what others say about being underwhelmed once you're inside the mosque. You must look at the entirety before you make any judgements. This is a mosque that is probably built entirely on stilts or right at the edge of the massive cliff behind it, on the water. The entire village has centered its life around it, but around its place of business. When you look out the windows, you see what this mosque stands for: not grandois architecture built for the emperors or for tourism's sake. A place of worship for the people of the community. And they are very proud of it. I hope one day I can come back on the day of Eid, just to see what the Muslim children and women would do to beautify it even more. Yes, there are children and there is a school as well, more if that in another review! The place is spotless and it looks brand new, I'm sure they must voluntarily keep it clean.
