Quite possibly the worst experience we've had. We arrived and the Buffet wasn't out. They asked us to wait 20 mins "as it was still cooking" they then bought out all the food and it was stone cold. And super expensive for a Buffet!
When we refused to eat and pay for the buffet they got defensive and did not let us just pay for our drinks and leave. We had to get into an argument before we could leave without paying for the food which we didn't eat.
The problem is you are not going to see this review until you arrived as the boat tours bring you here.

The waitresses were very friendly Myanmar girls and could speak Thai and...
Read moreDon’t eat on this island, even if it’s part of a tour. We got food poisoning. The hygiene standards here are terrible. Even though the food tasted great, we’ve never had stomach issues like this before. It’s been three days since our trip and we’re still not better—I think we’ll need another two or three days. The doctor’s bill was 21,000 THB, and my diarrhea and vomiting were so bad I had to get an IV drip.
Just so you know, we’re not fussy eaters—we regularly eat street food in many exotic countries and have never experienced anything like...
