Read moreIt's a lovely location and very interesting things to buy from The walking Street Market on Fridays and Saturdays. At peak times it becomes incredibly crowded but if you have dinner at one of the restaurants overlooking walking Street it is fascinating to watch everybody pass by.

The hotels are nearly all old fashioned wooden buildings which give walking street it's charm. Situated along the Mekong river you'll get beautiful sunsets if your hotel balcony overlooks the River. Hotel rooms are basic and small so don't expect anything too elaborate. We have been 3 times and will keep going back for long weekends when in Thailand.
