Wat Khao Itisukto — Attraction in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

A beautiful complex that is located a little away from the large centers. Definitely visit. But I would like to shed light on another side of these temple complexes that will be of less interest to tourists. In many temple complexes, stray dogs and cats are taken in and fed. Since my cat recently passed away, I passed by this temple because there is also a sanctuary for homeless cats there. Instead of buying an expensive breeding cat, I wanted to provide a new home for one of these cats in Gewarsam. During our first visit, the carer promised us that we would get a cat from there. Stunning temple. Love the wild animal sculptures here, and the replica of the royal barge. The pagoda at the top of the hill was also very pretty. It was half completed and we were so impressed by what has been built of the temple so far that we wanted to donate money for its construction to continue. โดยส่วนตัวศรัทธาหลวงพ่อโอภาสีและหลวงพ่อกบ เลยมาวัดนี้ เป็นวัดปฏิบัติธรรม และมากราบสรีระสังขารหลวงพ่อนครเจ้าอาวาสองค์แรกของวัดนี้ วัดเหมือนยังสร้างไม่เสร็จ มาทำบุญกันได้นะครับ ไปมาวันที่ 9/6/67 มาครั้งที่ 2 วันที่ 4/10/68 ดูจากติ๊กต๊อกเห็นว่าวัดเลี้ยงแมวด้วย รอบนี้เลยเอาอาหารแมวบริจาคด้วย มาถึงไม่เจอเจ้าหน้าที่เลย เลยสอบถามแม่ชี แม่ชีท่านเลยให้เอาไว้ตรงหน้ากรงเลย ความจริงถ้ามีพื้นที่กรงกว้างกว่านี้ก็จะดีมากเลย อยากให้แมวมีพื้นที่เยอะกว่านี้ เดียวคนจะสงสัยว่าทำไมต้องขังกรงไม่ยอมให้แมวเป็นอิสระ อยากบอกว่าวัดนี้หมาก็เยอะเหมือนกัน ทางวัดคงกลัวแมวโดนหมากัดเลยต้องขังกรง สามารถเอาอาหารหมาบริจาคได้เหมือนกันนะสำหรับทาสหมาหรือทาสแมว ส่วนใครถ้าเป็นทาสหมา มีศูนย์รักษ์สุนัขหัวหินอยู่ติดกับวัดเลย เป็นโครงการของพ่อหลวงรัชกาลที่ 9 ผู้เป็นที่รักของชาวไทย ทางศูนย์มีหมา 1000-1200 ตัว เอาอาหารหมามาบริจาคได้เช่นกันนะครับ ส่วนประวัติวัดตามนี้ครับ
