Worst service in Hua Hin!!!! IF you want to ruin your day this is place for you!

My husband and I have been to this place several times and the service leaves much to be desired every time. I'll tell you about two cases: we were seated at a table under the air conditioner, which was blowing as hard as possible, to which I asked the waiter to move to another and we moved, after a couple of minutes we were forced to move back to the same table because the table is reserved! I asked to turn off the air conditioner, but of course no one did it) P.S for the director - an employee with a short haircut) We sat in the restaurant for 1 hour, do you think someone came to the reserve place? of course not! thank you for such a kind attitude of the staff towards clients.

and the second case) on New Year, how the waitress ruined our holiday!!! we made an order and came with our 2-year-old son, I immediately clarified that drinks and pizza bring first!(of course, the child wants to eat) the first ones mixed up the soup for us, did the waitress apologize? Of course not, this is not her responsibility) then we waited for pizza for 50 minutes! and at the same time we were sitting in the restaurant alone!!! I called the waitress and asked her to repeat my order (maybe she forgot about the pizza, as well as about the soup) but she kindly ignored me and just left! then other visitors came in and she began to communicate with them with a smile (which my family did not receive)!! we waited 1 hour for pizza, the child was already on edge like me) we decided to get up and leave because we could wait any longer and be in such a «wonderful» place and went in the car to the parking lot, where this waitress ran out and started saying something incomprehensible about the order thank you for the offered help from the Administrator and I suppose the owner, but this would not have helped change the situation in any way)

I highly recommend firing such an employee; I have never seen worse service in the city. both times she performed the service and special thanks to her friend...

We used to love having lunch at Pane & Focaccia but today was below average and I will not rush back there to eat. We had only one starter to share which was delicious but pretty simple to put on the plate and one main dish each, papardelle al ragù and branzino. The staff didn't seem to know what they are doing. We asked for waters, two waiterresses turned up with the same thing. We had to ask for salt after they brought just pepper and everything took them so long. Not one smile for anyone. I received my main course which was really not good enough. The roasted potatoes were clearly old, reheated in microwave and still arrived cold! The fish was ok but spinach also didn't seem freshly made. I almost finished my main course and my husband's dish was still nowhere to be seen. We asked the waitress what's going on and she brought it then. The ragù wasn't flavoursome with deep flavours as before, it tasted as it was watered down. Minced meat - nothing like we had last time. The colour was very pale.

Next table asked for the bottle of prosecco and the waitress when she opened the prosecco, it would overflow on the floor. She didn't even bother to get the mop to clean it. She and her colleagues as well as customers walked over it many times completely oblivious to the situation until I told them to clean it because it was just an accident waiting to happen. After this, we decided to have a coffee at home. Shame nobody came to say sorry after we told waitress about my main course. Personally I love these deli/restaurants better than a full blown restaurant only. There’s something very convivial about eating in a place surrounded by meats, cheeses, pasta sauces and many other Italian food products. The style is like an upmarket cafe and a food shop mixed together. They also sell bakeries and bread in addition to the menu. Talking of which the Fettuncine and the seafood ravioli is beyond compare. The Thai chef was actually taught apparently by her Italian husband and being half Italian myself and having lived in Italy over the years all I can say is that the home made pasta and sauce is as good as anything I have tasted in Italy. The fettuccine in particular was made and cooked to perfection- it was exactly right just nicely ardente in a way that I couldn’t actually believe how it was made by a non Italian - the actual pasta home made also by the chef - the only thing that stops me going everday is that even looking at a plate of pasta seems to add several kilos on my already expanding waistline. I do hope not many people read this review as it might become even more difficult to get a seat at an already popular restaurant but honestly having a local restaurant like this is a major quality of life improver - unfortunately for health reasons I find myself thinking of going there far more often than actually being there.
