I haven’t been there, nor seen the so called ‘elephant show’, but from the video’s I have seen or photo’s which have been taken, this practice should be done with a lot of pressure and punishments to the elephants to perform under such stressful circumstances (noise from public, speaking from a close distance in a microphone on loud sound, maybe even small residents where the elephants stay when not performing). Have you noticed the hooks the trainers carry to be able to control the elephant? We shouldn’t encourage this kind of shows, same for circusses, aquazoo’s etc. Stop going there and stop sponsoring these activities; instead donate to animalcare charity, this is very stressful for the animals, and not good for the animals their welfare....

The handlers consistently use Hooks to nudge the Elephants into performing. That is why they have those ladies dancing with Umbrellas etc., to create a distraction while the hooks are subtly jabbed into the side of the Elephants.
I seriously hope they will either discontinue this show or tone it down to a level where high performance tricks are not expected from these...
