Safari World Bangkok is an exhilarating, full-day destination that masterfully blends immersive wildlife encounters with dynamic live performances. The attraction is spread across approximately 480 acres, divided into two key zones: the driver-through Safari Park and the more walkable Marine Park.
At Safari Park, you embark on an approximately 45–50 minute drive along an 8 km route that recreates savannah and highland environments. Expect to see majestic herbivores—such as giraffes (over 200 individuals), zebras, rhinos, antelopes, and ostriches—as well as large bird sanctuaries filled with pelicans and storks. The drive then leads into predator zones featuring lions, tigers, and bears—all safely contained yet intriguingly close.
Once you venture into Marine Park, the pace shifts to exploration on foot, with a wealth of shows, exhibits, and interactive zones to enjoy. Animal performances include dolphin shows, sea lion acts, elephant displays, bird shows, a cowboy stunt show, a spy-themed “Spy War” show, and the quirky Orangutan boxing show. Beyond the performances, wildlife exhibits are extensive: from manatees gliding through water tanks, themed aviaries like Eggs World and Hornbill Rainforest, to walking encounters with lemurs.
Highlights for interaction include feeding giraffes at the elevated feeding platform, relaxing boat rides through the “River Safari,” and an engaging family-friendly zone called Adventure Island featuring obstacle courses and games. The aviary called Mini World lets you feed sun conures midair, surrounded by tropical foliage—a memorable experience.
