Getting There We stayed in Baiyoke sky tower, Bangkok, and pre-booked a private taxi through Grab. Safari World is about 45–60 minutes away depending on traffic. We left at 8:40 AM and reached right on time for the park’s 10:00 AM opening.

We had booked combo tickets online that included: Entry to Marine Park Entry to Safari Park Buffet Lunch 4.Seat-in-coach for the Safari Drive

Morning at Marine Park – Full of Action-Packed Shows We started our day at Marine Park, and this part felt like a wildlife-themed amusement park. It’s clean, colourful, and very well laid out. The moment we entered, we were handed a show schedule (definitely follow this!) and planned our route accordingly.

Shows We Watched – All Crowd-Pleasers Orangutan Show (Funniest of All!) Hands down, the most entertaining show of the day! The orangutans were dressed up, acted out comedy skits, danced, hugged each other, and even mock-fought like boxers. My boys were laughing out loud throughout.

Elephant Show Being from India, we’ve seen elephants — but watching them paint, play football, dance, and do synchronized stunts was something new. The coordination and training of these gentle giants were amazing. My 6-year-old kept asking, “How is he painting with his trunk!?”

The James bond show It was based on a theme , bond vs enemy of state. It was fun. Sit on beyond 10th row if you dont want to get drenched in water splash. We sat a few rows back to avoid getting splashed — smart move if you don’t want to get soaked

Dolphin Show (The Grand Finale) This was easily the most majestic show of the day. The dolphins performed flips, danced, did high jumps, and interacted joyfully with their trainers. The music, atmosphere, and energy of this show had everyone mesmerized. Sit on 10

Sea Lion Show We skipped it as kids were tired.

Other Attractions in Marine Park Giraffe Feeding Platform: A fun highlight! Both boys fed bananas to giraffes from an elevated platform(chargeable 200 BAHT). The giraffes were super friendly and came close. It was a bit slimy but absolutely worth it!

Buffet Lunch – Decent & Family Friendly We had our lunch at the designated buffet area. There were decent vegetarian and kid-friendly options — rice, rotis,stir-fried veggies, curries, and fruits. full Indian food, comfortable enough for an Indian palate.

Afternoon at Safari Park – A Relaxing Drive-Through After lunch and a bit of rest, we headed to the Safari Park, which is a drive-through zoo. We boarded the shared safari coach (included in our combo ticket), which took us through the open animal enclosures. there were no tigers or lions in this safari. But the animals we did see were still impressive and kept the kids fascinated.

What We Saw on Safari Drive: Zebras Giraffes Ostriches Rhinoceroses Deer and antelopes Camels A few types of bears Buffalo and wild cattle It was a peaceful, slow ride, where animals freely roamed in large open areas, and some even came right next to the bus. No cages, no stress — it felt very natural. My boys loved spotting animals and yelling, “Look! A rhino!” every few minutes. It’s a relaxing way to wind down after the excitement of the morning shows.

Tips from One Indian Dad to Another: Reach early to make the most of the shows. 2.Wear comfortable shoes — there’s a lot of walking. 3.Carry water bottles, sunscreen, and caps — even in September, it gets sunny. Follow the show schedule strictly — it’s the best way to see everything. Book the combo tickets online — it saves time and often money. 6.Don’t expect a typical zoo — it’s more of a family theme park with animals and shows.

Final Thoughts – Worth It? 100%! If you're visiting Bangkok with your kids, Safari World is a no-brainer. It’s entertaining, safe, clean, and full of fun moments.

Rating: 9.5/10 Perfect family outing in Bangkok. Highly recommended for Indian families, especially with kids...

Too good Marine Park is the main park where various animal displays from all over the world are showcased. The main attractions of Safari World are located in Marine Park. Another aviary called Hornbill jungle with Great Indian hornbill, Wreathed hornbill, Oriental pied hornbill, Rhinoceros hornbill, Nicobar pigeon, Pied imperial pigeon and White-crowned hornbill is also there. A large lake in which paddle-boat could be done by visitors is filled with White Swan...

Review of Pattaya Safari World Park – A Thrilling Wildlife Experience!

During my recent trip to Pattaya, I had the pleasure of visiting Safari World Park, and it turned out to be one of the most exciting and family-friendly attractions in the area.

The park is beautifully maintained and offers a wide variety of wildlife experiences. From the moment you enter, you're greeted by lush greenery, open safari zones, and a chance to witness animals in habitats that closely resemble the wild.

Highlights of My Visit: 🦁 Safari Drive-Through: This was the most thrilling part! Riding through in a vehicle, we got up close to lions, tigers, giraffes, zebras, and more – all roaming freely. It's both safe and exciting, and perfect for kids and adults alike.

🦜 Bird & Animal Shows: The park hosts several live shows featuring parrots, sea lions, elephants, and orangutans. They were fun, interactive, and educational – great for children and photography lovers.

🐒 Feeding Sessions & Interactions: Feeding giraffes and seeing monkeys up close was an unforgettable experience. The staff is friendly and encourages interaction while ensuring animal welfare.

📸 Photo Spots: There are numerous scenic spots for taking photos with animals or in nature-inspired backdrops. The overall atmosphere is relaxed and natural, not overly commercialized.

🥤 Facilities: Clean restrooms, food courts, souvenir shops, and shaded rest areas are available throughout the park. It’s well organized for tourists, with clear signs in English.

✨ Tips for Visitors: Go early to enjoy the full day, especially if you're visiting with children.

Carry sunscreen, a hat, and water – it gets hot!

Don’t miss the safari bus ride – it’s the highlight of the park.

Camera is a must – lots of wildlife photography opportunities!

⭐️ Overall Rating: 5/5 Safari World Pattaya is a must-visit destination for animal lovers, families, and adventure seekers. It blends entertainment, education, and nature beautifully. A great way to escape the beach for a day and enjoy something...

🌍 Why Safari World Bangkok Is a Top Safari Experience in Asia 1. Dual Park Setup Safari Park: A drive-through area where visitors can see animals like giraffes, zebras, tigers, and lions roaming freely in open spaces. Marine Park: A more traditional zoo setting with animal shows and exhibits including dolphins, orangutans, elephants, and exotic birds. 2. Animal Shows & Entertainment Famous for its daily animal shows like: Dolphin Show Elephant Show Orangutan Boxing Show Hollywood Cowboy Stunt Show Sea Lion Show These shows are tailored to be family-friendly and fun for all ages. 3. Unique Feeding Experiences You can feed giraffes on an elevated platform — one of the largest giraffe feeding terraces in the world. There are also opportunities to hand-feed birds and see animal trainers interact with big cats. 4. Accessibility and Infrastructure It’s very tourist-friendly with clear maps, shuttle options, food courts, and staff who speak English. Located within easy driving distance from central Bangkok. 5. Safety & Cleanliness Safari World is known for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety — something not all safari-style parks in Asia can claim. 🌟 Is It the Best Safari in Asia? That depends on what you’re looking for. Safari World offers a mix of safari experience and entertainment, making it perfect for families and casual visitors. However, if you're after a more authentic, natural, or conservation-focused safari, other parks in Asia like: Ranthambore National Park (India) – for wild tigers, Chitwan National Park (Nepal) – for rhinos and birdlife, Singapore Zoo & Night Safari – for immersive zoo design and conservation, ...might rank higher for wildlife purists.

Coming from one of the best wildlife countries, it wouldn’t be fair to compare—but I must say, the safari drive was a wonderful experience. We got to see a wide range of well-kept animals, including marabou storks, ostriches, deer, wildebeest, zebras, rhinos, hippos, buffalo, lions, tigers (my first time seeing them!), and even bears. There were also colorful parrots from around the world, owls, hawks, giraffes, capybaras (the largest rodent in the world), elephants, chimpanzees, kangaroos, walruses, and countless species of fish—so many that I’m sure I missed mentioning some. One of the most moving moments for me was interacting with the orangutans—we even got to hold them and walk with them! While the entry fee covers admission and food, you need to pay extra if you want to hold certain animals and take photos, which felt a bit pricey. The park also features a number of shows. Though we missed the elephant show due to timing and the language barrier, we managed to catch the dolphin show, which was truly delightful. The included food, however, was very average and not freshly made, which was a little disappointing. On the bright side, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the toilets were despite the huge crowds. For families, the park provides carriers and prams for little ones—a must if you’re covering the entire park, as it’s quite a walk. There is also a map provided at the start, making it easier to navigate and plan your route around the park. Overall, the experience was unforgettable and absolutely lovely. The kids had a blast, and so did we!
