ASEAN Night Bazaar is a covered market in Hat Yai, Thailand. It is a popular tourist destination, and is known for its clothing, souvenirs, and food stalls. The market is open from 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM daily.

The market is a large, two-story building with over 1,000 stalls. The ground floor is mostly dedicated to clothing and souvenirs, while the second floor has a food court and a few other stalls.

The prices at ASEAN Night Bazaar are generally reasonable, and there is a lot of bargaining to be done. The quality of the goods is also good, although there are some counterfeit items.

The market is a great place to find souvenirs for friends and family back home. There are also a lot of clothes and accessories available, so you can find something to update your wardrobe.

The food court on the second floor is a great place to try some Thai street food. There are a variety of dishes to choose from, and the prices are very reasonable.

Overall, ASEAN Night Bazaar is a great place to shop and eat in Hat Yai. It is a lively and colorful market with something for everyone.

Here are some of the pros and cons of ASEAN Night Bazaar:

Pros:

Large selection of goods Reasonable prices Bargaining possible Good food court Family-friendly environment

Cons:

Can be crowded, especially on weekends Some vendors may overcharge tourists Not as authentic as some other night markets in Thailand

Overall, ASEAN Night Bazaar is a great place to visit if you are looking for a fun and affordable shopping experience. It is a good option for families and first-time visitors to Thailand.

Here are some tips for visiting ASEAN Night Bazaar:

Go during the week if you want to avoid the crowds. Wear comfortable shoes as you will be doing a lot of walking. Bring some cash as many vendors do not accept credit cards. Be prepared to haggle as this is common practice in Thailand.

I hope this review helps you decide whether or not to visit ASEAN...

ASEAN Night Bazaar in Hatyai is one of the more popular night markets in the city, and it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a lively evening activity. I visited the market after dinner and had a great time walking around and exploring the variety of stalls.

The environment here is well organized, with stalls neatly arranged, making it easy to navigate even when the crowd gets larger. Compared to some other night markets that can feel messy or overwhelming, ASEAN Night Bazaar is more structured, which makes the shopping experience smoother and more enjoyable.

There are plenty of stalls offering a wide range of products, from clothing, shoes, and accessories to souvenirs and small household items. If you enjoy browsing for fashion or picking up a few affordable items, this market is a good place to do so. The prices are reasonable, and with a little bargaining, you can often get even better deals.

Of course, no night market visit is complete without trying some food. Although I had already eaten dinner, I noticed that there were many food stalls offering different types of dishes. What’s nice is that the food here is Muslim-friendly, making it an excellent choice for Malay friends or anyone looking for halal options. Portions match the price, and from what I tried, the taste was not bad at all — simple, flavorful, and satisfying for street food.

Overall, ASEAN Night Bazaar is a great place to spend an evening in Hatyai. Even if you don’t plan to shop a lot, it’s fun just to walk around, soak in the atmosphere, and maybe enjoy a few snacks. If you’re traveling with friends or family, especially Malay friends, this is a highly recommended spot for shopping and food in a Muslim-friendly...

🐣 Asean Night Bazaar: A Must-Visit Spot for Food and Souvenirs

🐣 If you're traveling to the area and looking for a place to eat and shop for souvenirs, Asean Night Bazaar should definitely be on your list! It's a vibrant spot that draws in tourists with its wide selection of local goods and tasty food.

🐣 The food court is located on the second floor, while the ground floor is packed with stalls selling all sorts of souvenirs, though clothing is definitely the most popular item. This bazaar is one of the livelier ones around, and you’ll be surprised at how fluently many of the vendors speak Malay, which makes shopping even easier for regional visitors.

🐣 One thing to note: seating in the food area is quite limited. It gets especially crowded during mealtimes, so finding an empty table can be a bit tricky. That said, the food is affordable, the prices are reasonable, and the flavors are delicious. There’s a wide variety of dishes and drinks to choose from, so there’s something for every craving.

🐣 Toilets are also located on the second floor, but fair warning most of them don’t have water hoses for cleaning up after yourself. So, it’s a good idea to bring your own water bottle or some wet tissues just in case. Not the most convenient part, but hey, better to be prepared than sorry!

🐣 While a few stalls accept digital payments, cash is still king here and will make your transactions a...

Food - 5 stars. Cin Cao drink is soooo good & refreshing although it's milky? The tom yum from the yellow shop is the best tom yum we've had thus far (from a night market standard). The kerabu kaki ayam from the red shop is also good & the auntie who makes it is super sweet as well. Price wise - Very reasonable. Souvenir - Souvenir prices here are ok. It's not very cheap but not that expensive either. Recommended for the keychains / shirts / fridge magnets / typical souvenir with Hatyai or Thailand stamped on it hahah But for the inhalers (brand names), I think u can find cheaper elsewhere? For example I got 2 inhalers for 150B but I could get 6 for 180B from 7E. Clothes - The pricing here is a hit or miss. I would say it's kind of pricey for an okay-ish quality garments? But they are pretty generous with the discounts if you seem interested browsing their items haha Payment Method - For the food I think all places accept cash & QR. But for the clothes, some of them only accept cash although most of them accept QR payments. No card payments here.
