Visited the Golden Mermaid Statue during my trip to Songkhla and it was a truly memorable experience. This statue is one of the most iconic landmarks of Songkhla, and seeing it in person felt very special. Located right on the beautiful Samila Beach, the statue offers a great spot to take photos and enjoy the surrounding scenery.

The environment around the statue is very well maintained. The beach is clean, the sand is soft, and the area feels calm and relaxing. It is a lovely place to spend some time just sitting down and enjoying the sea breeze. The view of the ocean is beautiful, especially in the morning or late afternoon when the lighting makes the scenery even more picturesque.

The Golden Mermaid itself is quite stunning. The craftsmanship is beautiful, and it has a unique charm that draws both locals and tourists. There’s something magical about its story as well — the mermaid is said to be part of a local legend, which makes visiting the statue feel more meaningful. Many visitors, including myself, took time to take photos here, and it’s almost like a must-do activity when you are in Songkhla.

Even though this is a popular tourist spot, it doesn’t feel too crowded most of the time, and the atmosphere is peaceful. There are some vendors nearby selling drinks, snacks, and souvenirs, which adds to the convenience if you want to spend more time there.

Overall, I would give the Golden Mermaid Statue 4 out of 5. It’s a beautiful spot to appreciate both the culture and the natural beauty of Songkhla. Whether you’re here for photography, sightseeing, or simply to relax by the beach, this place is definitely worth including in...

One of the tourist spots that must be visited at Samila beach is the golden mermaid statue. The parking location is very large which can accommodate buses and private vehicles, we only walk a few hundred meters from the beach to the parking location. The atmosphere along the beach is very clean and beautiful, there are several photo spots that visitors can use at this location. There are also souvenir and clothing sellers available that visitors can buy. The toilet is in a clothing store which provides these facilities for a fee. The beach location is very clean and tends to be windy, visitors must bring a wide hat or umbrella, there are horses that can be rented to go around this beach. There were no visitors seen bathing in this beach area, perhaps because the waves were strong. At the Golden Mermaid statue, there are many queues to take photos, so visitors must be patient when taking photos at this spot. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of the beach by using the track provided besides walking on the beach sand. What you must try is coconut ice cream, where you can enjoy coconut water for free if you buy the ice cream, and there are other interesting snacks available to buy at...
