🇹🇭”Foodalicious” Hatyai Night Market🇹🇭
Located conveniently just one street away from array of massage shop and few steps away from the McDonald. Money changer is nearby too.
Even though it is not the largest night market in Hatyai, but the variety of food stalls can feed the hungry tummy. For food, you can look for some traditional Thai street food like mango sticky rice, crispy roasted pork, moo ping, and fried seafood (prawns, oysters omelets etc). Thirst quenching beverages like fresh fruit juice and bottled coke are in good price too (within rm6 something).
Tables and chairs for outdoor dining is available upon first come first serve basis, and require self cleaning after use. If lucky enough you will be able to see performances in front of the Lee Garden Plaza by the locals for charity event.
Besides just food and drinks, it is a good place to get price worth passport holders (customizable), art drawing, bags, and great souvenirs.

My first time to Hatyai even though I am an Ipoh boy and Hatyai is a popular destinations for Ipoh Lang 😅
F&B :
We had halal food for our first visit to the market. We had large river prawns , one with cheese. Wife liked it but I tot the cheese didn't pair well with the prawn at all. Seafood sauce was good and the Thai Muslim vendors were friendly. Felt at home as you can converse with them in Malay also 😊. They offered us their beef dish to sample but we didn't want to waste their food. We did go back to try the next day and it was good !
Grilled squid , so fresh and so good , very good bouncy texture. stall next door to the halal river prawn & beef. Also from a Muslim shop.
Spotted Ramly burger so I had to have one . Been more than a year since I had Ramly Burger and...
Read moreThis is an ice breaking spot for everybody who is visiting Hatyai for the first time. Quite happening and this exposure is needed so the next time when you head to local shops, you are not like "No idea what's this". Instead, you shall be like "Oh I know this, I've seen it at Lee Garden Night Market".
Definitely a tourist spot/point/trap. Yet worth the hype if you don't overspend here itself. Avoid impulse spending at all cost.
Most happening place to visit during night time besides nightclub and bars. Take a look at their way of preparation and cooking the food, only then purchase if you want to try them. Food is expensive compared to local food vendors.
Most of the food items are mediocre. One food I can never deny, the best I've ever had was the Mango Sticky Rice. Large Mango and plenty of sticky rice with coconut milk. Definitely worth the try. And also the ice blended orange juice was refreshing. Padthai noodles and noodle...
