Wat Thawararam — Attraction in Songkhla Province

A very tranquil place to be at.

Monks are extremely limited proficiency in English though. But they do try their best to guide you around.

Those who can't speak Thai and would like to pray with Joss sticks, at the entrance, turn right, slot in 20 baht minimum per pax for the Joss sticks into the box. Light up your Joss sticks, follow the numberings, 3 sticks on each urn. There are about 15-16 points to pray. After number 12, the rest are on first floor, walk up via the staircase near the place where you took the Joss sticks. Balance of Joss sticks can just put on the last urn.

And of course, the level 4. You can take an elevator up on the left side of the entrance. Shouldn't miss going up as the statues are remarkable and huge.

I would highly recommend this temple as it is not mainstream so it's very calming when you are in there.
