🇹🇭 Authentic Thai Local Home Cook Food 🇹🇭
Local most recommended home cook Thai food spot for authentic Thai delights. We arrived around 11am and queued for an hour before getting a table, but it was totally worth for the wait.
Ps: Owner claims their food contains no MSG too!
Ordering is easy as the owner speaks simple English, hence no worries in communication. Also, their menu is prepared in three languages too (Thai, Chinese, English).
What we ordered: 🌭 Homemade Stuffed Meat Sausage Recommended by the uncle and it taste super tasty! There are two flavors option available - original and spicy. The original one is savory with a hint of Thai sour pork taste, best to dip and enjoy together with the signature sauce of theirs. On the other hand the spicy flavor one is not similar as the sweet spicy sausage, but kind of spicy with spicy chilies bits in every bite.
🥘 Seafood Tomyam Flavorful, spicy and sour! So appetizing and generous with lots of ingredients like big prawns, oyster mushrooms, squid and chicken for a fulfilling meal.
🐓 Grilled Chicken Chop Perfect juicy and tender char grilled chicken chop. Tastes sweet savory just like Char Siew Yoke!
🍳 Seafood Omelette Hearty seafood omelette with fresh shrimps and oysters. Lunch doesn’t get better than this.
🥗 Thai Papaya and Carrot Salad Refreshing and crunchy in every bite, just special.
🍯 Cole Nectar Drink Best to enjoy while still icy cold! Special mix of malt...
Read moreHad a Tom Saap (with Pork), a Sai Oua (Northern Style Sausage) and a plate of steamed rice for 225 baht. I really enjoy the food and would be glad to return. This shop focuses on the Northern and Northeastern Thai cuisine, such as Som Tam and Thai Sausages.
The Tom Saap is flavored right with the strong Thai Basil and other herbs flavors. If you can take spiciness, get the original spiciness.
Sai Oua is my favorite so far, at it's flavored with lemongrass, chilli and other thai herbs. It is so tasty that the chilli sauce provided kinda spoil the taste.
The atmosphere is cozy, but it can be quite warm especially when you are eating the spicy food. As for the price, you decide for yourself.
One plus for this place it that the owner speaks English well, so you can have a conversation with him if he's not too busy.
Thanks and hope this helped.
Another Day== Came back to taste the other dishes. This time I ordered the Som Tum (Thai Green Papaya Salad), Sai-Krok E-Sarn (Eastern Thai Sausage), and steamed rice. Also ordered the coconut nectar drink. Total 150 baht.
The Som Tum is as usual standard. The original flavor can be quite spicy, so you can ask the owner to reduce the spiciness. The sausage is what I missed a lot, which is the fermented pork sausage. It's not for everyone, but I like it a lot. For a hot day, the coconut nectar is nice to pair with the spicy...

You can smell the restaurant before you see it. Came alone so could only try 3 dishes.
Order the pork liver mixed with mint leaves, chives, onions and dried uncooked rice. Super delicious. First time ever to be asked if I want medium rare or well-done for the pork liver. The texture of the pork liver is PERFECT and no weird unfresh pork taste. The mint leave changes the flavour of the pork liver, making it refreshing even though it's a full meat dish.
Order the mixed sausages. 1 is sausage-e sarn, with rice in the meat, softer and slight slight sour. The other is sausage-chiang mai. SIBEI (super) nice! Tasted actually like what I had in Chiang Mai. More fleshy with herbs and spice.
Grilled chicken was PERFECT! The charred flavour on the meat that was thick but still juicy. Well marinated but not overly sweet or salty.
Boss was super friendly, even though he looked kinda fierce, like a gentle giants. Speak very good english and was very patient.
If you are here and you see the metal gate closed, just patiently wait outside. Not closed ...
