Soo. My and my family visited this "lovely" place back in September of 2024. God it was horrible. Firs of all, after arrival we were registered to stay at economy room, we didn't book economy. We arrived at 9 am and we're given keys to our room at 11, and when I saw the rooms that we would stay, I was angry. The rooms was in some sort of basement, at the back of the hotel. I declined and ask to speak to the manager. We went back to the lobby and after discussing the issue with manager they ask us to wait a moment, they will move us to different rooms. We waited for 6 hours, just sitting in a lobby with our suitcases, while the staff were looking at us and laughing. Staff it rude. Fast forward to the rooms. It was alright, the light was only in the bathroom, no phones were connected, TV broken, no air conditioner, towels changed twice a week. But overall we only came there to sleep. The food was okay. If you ain't picky, you'll find something to eat. After only 3 nights we were moved to bungalas, because in our rooms, as manager said, there will be no electricity and water for a day or a week, he didn't know. Bungalas were good, aside from glass sliding doors, they were broken. There was air conditioner, the remote you can grab at the lobby for 5 dollars. That week that we stayed, after the heavy rain, the bungalas were flooded, no one came to cleaned it, we did it ourselves. Leaving us with no towels, and blankets. After 2 days and multiple requests, mind you we were in city for the whole day, I had enough. I was mad, so I yelled at the manager, and gave them an hour to clean our rooms after the flood, which they did in 20 min. Have no idea why it took them 2 days. So be prepared that if staff says they will do it in 5 minutes, it will take a whole day to be done. We had to search for toilet paper, towels, glassware, forks, remotes, even staff. Hygiene 0. We even found used tissues under your bed. If you planing on going there be prepared, better take everything from home. AQUAPARK and slides were in bad condition. The water is leaking, slides shaking. Going down one slide my sister ripped her pants, and I hit my back and my arm. The staff was mostly teenagers. I strongly advise you, do not drink water at the hotel, you can buy it in convenience store near by. Count the money and the change they give you, cause you will pay more than you were supposed to. The beach was good, a little dirty, water can be dirty with multiple packages and adult stuff floating around. Big plus is the taxi drivers from the hotel. They will take you wherever you want and wait for you. Do not be afraid to ask for a tour around the SOUSSE. Just for taxi drivers I am giving...

I don’t even know where to begin — Hotel Thalassa Sousse was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. This place should not be allowed to operate, let alone advertise itself as a resort. It was more like a scam than a holiday. • Reception Staff Are Aggressive and Dishonest: The reception staff were rude, disrespectful, and clearly not trained to deal with people. They tried to scam us by overcharging the hotel tax and couldn’t even do basic maths. When we questioned it, we were told “shut up” and “I don’t work for you”. Completely disgraceful and borderline abusive. • Rooms Are Disgusting: The rooms were crawling with ants, the sheets were stained, and it smelled like no one had cleaned properly in weeks. Don’t expect housekeeping to do anything — they come in, move a towel around, and leave. It’s unhygienic and unacceptable. • Health Hazard Pool: The pool had so much chlorine it burned your eyes and skin and made people physically sick. Multiple guests, including kids, were coughing or vomiting after swimming. It’s honestly unsafe. • Inedible Food: The food was some of the worst I’ve ever had in a hotel. Cold, bland, repetitive, and clearly made with the cheapest ingredients they could find. It wasn’t just bad — it was revolting. People were skipping meals because it was so unappetizing. • Everything Is Falling Apart: The beds were broken, creaky, and uncomfortable. Fixtures in the room were hanging off the walls. You only get one key per room, which makes zero sense for families or couples wanting a bit of independence. • False Advertising – NOT All-Inclusive: The so-called “all-inclusive” is a complete lie. You ask for a drink — they say no. Ask for ice? You get one cube (if you’re lucky). Staff are either out of stock, unwilling, or just rude. You’ll spend half your holiday begging for basic things you already paid for. • Blatant Discrimination: If you’re not French, don’t expect decent treatment. French guests were clearly prioritised, smiled at, served quickly, and treated with respect. Everyone else — especially non-French tourists — were treated like garbage. It’s insulting and shameful.
This place ruined our holiday. It was filthy, unsafe, and disrespectful on every level. No one should spend their hard-earned money here. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Stay far, far away from Hotel...
Read moreI have been staying in the hotel for 10 days, but also beeing hotel manager of 4 hotels in Belgrade with 4*, I have plently to say.
Good things: Food. Everyday the food was great, there are always pleanty of salads, sides, fresh fruits, a several main meals and there is always something on the grill. So, for the food, great job!!
Rooms was simple and clean, maybe a batroom should have renovation, bathtubes do not look good but it is not a big deal. Staff: Restaurant and bar staff are great, helpful and good working. Older lady in the housekeeping was FENOMENALE! Hard working, remembering everything that you ask, humbled and kind. And speaking english very well. From the reception i would only mention Halil(sorry if i misspelled your name) who was on my check in, you were wonderfull and i wish you the best because your welcoming was the best conversation I had for 10 days spent here.
On the check out there were no question from the reception how was our staying, also i think that the manager at the time was at the reception and was kind of rude. To this point, I wanted to talk to him about my experiance firstly like a colleague, but seeing he does not care, did not want to.
So now, bas things:
LACK OF WATER. For 5 days there were no water in the rooms for hours. We could not take a shower after the sea.
RUDE STAFF ON THE LOBBY BAR/RECEPTION BAR
Older man with grey hair openly hating Serbians and had NO SHAME everytime to had a comment at his language which was unprofesional and dissrespectfull. If you do not like your job, go sell spices on the market.
Cleaning ladies with brumsticks under your table while you are eating just to give them some change is not acceptable and higenic, I AM EATING.
Security on the pool tried to trick us to give him money so he can being us beer tommorow, while there is beer for buy(Heineken, becks) on one of the pool bars where they make pizza. Really bad people working here trying to earn some small amount by making you look like a fool.
And the main and most illegal thing:
SECURITY GUY FR8M THE GATE AND THE "LADY" NAMED RAHMA OFFERED SEX SERVICES FOR 50 EUROS. THE MOST DISRESPETFULL THING IS TO HAVE EMPLOYEES LIKE THIS.
I will never comeback here and will tell all of my clients and friends to stays away from this place.
Best wishes to good people here which are...
