💫 Herkese iyi gezmeler dilerim :))

💬🌿 I think it is a museum that you should definitely visit with its open space and interior works and careful presentations. It is a must-see, especially for mythology lovers. With fish and peacocks at the outdoor seating area, a rich cultural environment is provided, where you can add color to your day. 🏛 The inside is usually a few degrees lower than the outside, so I can't say it's cool or hot, but a well-ventilated and quiet environment is provided. A small playground was also designed to teach children concepts about the museum. I can say that it is a comprehensive museum because from tiny statues to idols of the old era; You can see all kinds of historical artifacts, from sarcophagi to tear bottles. It is very nice to have corners where our cultural richness is told. Moreover, it is a museum that offers the opportunity to simultaneously pearl the bottles, pottery and plates, in which coins from many different periods are used. 🌴While walking in the greenery, plants about trees and traditional games are hung around, an environment intertwined with nature. 🎫 A place where the Müzekart is valid. 🕒 If you do a detailed tour, I think it will take a maximum of 1.5 hours. People who enter leave in an average of 40 minutes - 1 hour. If time is important to your plan, I recommend you consider it. 🪧Finally, don't forget that if you come here and like it, you can support the museum at turkishmuseums.com. 💫 I wish everyone a...

Being in the ancient Pamphylia region which extended from the Mediterranean coastline into the Taurus mountains, Antalya has a first-class archaeological heritage.

No shock then that the Antalya Archaeological Museum is one of the best in the country, and an obligatory stop on any holiday to the city.

More than 5,000 pieces are on show at any time, across 13 halls covering every period from prehistory to Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman times, as well life in the Antalya countryside in the early 20th century.

Of course, the ancient artefacts inspire the most fascination, running from coins, to status, sarcophagi, wine bowls, jewellery and figurines.

One outstanding piece is a 2nd-century marble sarcophagus with reliefs depicting the Twelve Labours of Hercules, while the statuary hall is loaded with 2nd and 3rd-century Roman carvings of Mythological figures like Zeus, Artemis, Aphrodite, Hecate, Hermes and Minerva, to name...

5/5 – Must-visit in Alanya

Alanya Archaeological Museum is worth your time. It’s not too big, but full of powerful pieces. One highlight is the Milestone from A.D. 198–209. It honors Roman emperors and Empress Julia Domna. You can feel the weight of history just looking at it.

The bronze Pegasus was another favorite. Found in Gazipaşa, it shows the flying horse from myth. The Relief with Inscription shows gods like Zeus, Hermes, and Apollo. Don’t skip the Zeus gallery either. It’s quiet and full of symbols.

Outside, cats sleep in the sun. Peacocks roam in the garden nearby. That alone makes the visit even better.

If you're in Alanya, this museum...
