One star is something too much. I was there yesterday 8.9.2018 with my wife and kid. After the foam show they started to sell corn into a small shopping place where the kid wanted a cup and i got close to pay. I toiched one of the pipes. With pipes i meqn a construction which is at yoir side whn you pay or order and what ia holding the roof and the cart together. I was hit by electricity, and wery hard. My fingers fastened the pipe very hard and i could not unleash them. I got ti help wit my right hand and i managed to free the left but the fingera of the right fastened the pipe... my wife was close to me i touched her, if it can be regarded as my act and she was hit by electricity too. At the end i managed to set me free falling back on my neck. At all this time perhaps 15 secundes people were shouting but the stupid woman at the shop did do nothing. Even more. She cintinued to sell corn, while people told eachother dont tuch dont tuch.... Than after strong remark from my wife she disconnected electricity wire from the shop and told ,,perhaps the foam got the cart wet and so electricity was going out,,. Fascinting explanation. In the meqnwhile for 10 mins i was lieing on the floor unable to stand up... she or somebody from the park did nothing. I repeat nothing. People fr neighboorhood started to come to me wih wet towels and water to drink.... I standed up but my right leg was unusable. Was a halft so big as the other and wery painfull. So i was lieing on a chair for a half an hour... Then when nothing happened me and my wife we started to search for a manager. You cqn imagine. I was barely going. My wife brought me at a half. We got downstairs. No. They even did not look at me. Manager not here they sayed. Go upstairs at restaurant. I got there. No. Go to the upper platform in the bar. I got there. He was there from a long time. And the bar was 3 meters in front the corn shop. Can you imagine he did not see a thing? No problem he says. In turkey common culture this means, even if they hit you eith a car, that they are ok and must leave. There will be a consequences he sayed. What kind, i asked him? Electrical engineer will come and will fix the shop. I stayed wordless. For this guy problem is not that he barely killed me. And better it was me because i am strong 110 kg man, and it should be your kid at my place. But it is not the problem for him. Problem is he cannot sell corn anymore. I hardly rethinked to act to government to close this place immediately. But i decided that my vacantion still starts and still we could have a good time without to ruin it. So i lied on the chair and stopped negotiqtion. But it was not ment to be, because time was going up place about to close and i am the only one ti drive my family home...bit my right leg was painful, muscle on a ball and unusable. So i got to this idiot again and ask. Where i could find a doctor. Here he sayed. Wr have our own doctor at the place. I was wordless once again. The doctor, more like a nurse, checkef my bloodpressurr and pushed nails in my leg to check if ot is reacting. It was. It was painful even before as i explained her. Blood pressure was 150 to 70 morr thqn hour after happening while my normal is 120 to 80. She found this difference two times ok and sent me home. No medicine. No imjection. Even not a body temperature checkup. Now i have a painful leg. All connectors of the bones of right hand and leg also are painfull mostly those on fingers. Right eyeball also painfull. But i am happy, because it was my kid the next to take tje cup and touch the cart. Tommmorow will be yours. You depend on wind mostly. Bar, music and waffle shop are also around the place.
In adition. Slides parts not well connected and jave edges. After using the so called extreme slides i got issing big holes of skin on my inger. I can even make a picture. So slides are also not safe. Tje slides resemble tje slides of some hotrels in Marmaris. Im turkey i have visited aquapark of 5 famousplaces. All they are nothing special but this is the worst for sure....

Frequent dolmus buses use main road along length of town to get you to the bottom of the (steep) waterpark access road, which overlooks Marmaris & entire bay area- view is spectacular from inside, tho can be had without paying to go in...Taxis get you close to the main entrance, -not obvious due to " being moved" according to staff- & wait by park exit along with free minibus service dropping back to hotels. Agree taxi prices in advance. Entry price is actually 600 Turkish lira [ £20-ish currently], a large locker for bags, clothing, valuables etc in changing rooms is 50TL deposit, & a electronic payment card onto which you can preload money to purchase food/drinks in restaurant & separate pool bar area, (& snacks in central waffle/ice cream concession should it be open.) Money not spent by days end is returned in Lira. No other purchase method is used in the park-standard practice in attractions to avoid carrying cash, but be sure not to lose your card when swimming, sliding, or moving around- theres no obvious way of determining ownership once card is issued/lost/claimed. Changing rooms next to reception are decent size, (slightly dim inside), with functional toilet & shower facilities as well as the lockers. Numbered locker key tags are worn using the elasticated wrist bands. Access to swimming, slide, & sunbed areas is via steps up to next "floor" level. Should be a lift for wheelchairs & prams tho I don't recall seeing one. Exiting roofed stairs into park, walking surface is combination of (slightly rough) concrete, and clay tiles with light soft landscaping & few big trees, incl on long shared flight of poorly-maintained steps to top of all slides with smattering of larger artificial grass matting zones directly adjacent swim & slide access points. Beyond the mats, the unshaded materials exposed to direct sunlight become superheated to a level where painful to walk barefoot. Footwear can't be worn on slides (or swimming) so you may have to walk back up the scorching steps to slide entry point to collect your shoes you needed on the steps... Plastic mats on sunbeds also suffer similar issue unless you bring a towel to cover them. Photos online show the current slides, either enclosed or open "straight down drop" type requiring sitting/lying on a single person polyfoam mat, [incl. linked units where up to 4 race together], or open/enclosed (dark inside), which allow travel on (supplied) single or double inflatable rings with grip handles on longer slides with multiple loops & direction changes. The compressor was left near the rings & DJ. The loud, thumping dance music is TOTALLY inappropriate for the vibe! Water gushing down slides means all end with you being whooshed into the constantly-fed catch pools (about 2 ft deep) & to exit via steps with handrail. Rides have information boards, at (top) entry showing min height requirements, how best to enjoy each ride, & staff are located to ensure rules are followed & safety maintained, incl keeping sufficient gap between riders. Staff are attendant 7 days a week during opening from 10am-5pm, though have break 12-12.30 (lunch) & 3-3.30 (mid afternoon when hottest). This can be slightly limit younger users/families not planning their day ahead. Pool sides are rough concrete, poorly painted & maintained & uncomfortable to sit on, but water quality appears good & constantly checked. Some slides were not open due to scaffolding/obvious upgrading work (better done out of season?), & the wave pool & kids water jet "squirt" zone were also out of order for day. Restaurant staff struggled to keep up food deliveries with customer orders in peak lunch period, but quality of pizza & chips/nuggets was good, & drinks were chilled. There's 1 other park...
Read moreMy family and I a party of 7 visited Aqua Dream on 29/07/14 and on the whole we all had an enjoyable day apart from the experience when we 1st arrived. Un be known to us we took a couple of bags ( one was a brand new beach bag containing ice bags and blocks) containing snacks and drinks which we on arrival were told you could not take your own food etc in. The women on the turnstyle was checking the bags was extremely rude and aggressive checking the bags and was trying to empty them and put the contents in the bin. We did not not have a problem not taking them in but continued to ask if there was a safe place to leave them till the end of the day abruptly keep replying NO and said if we hide the bags outside she would find them. We had no choice but to leave them outside but behind a board in a shadey area. At the end of the day they had gone and the women slyly grinned saying she didn't know were they had gone! We got the management envolved who did speak to the woman concerned and had a look in some cupboards ( which obviously we could have left the bags in) this happened to a number of families that day and is considered as stealing in my eyes. The womans family will have had a feast on our snacks that evening and she will now be walking round Marmaris with my bag!! BE WARNED DON'T TAKE YOUR OWN...
