Amazing experience in Queen Elizabeth National Park and Murchison Falls National Park
We did some activities with this tour company in Uganda and it made all the difference in our trip to the country.
We enjoyed a safari at Queen Elizabeth National Park with a beautiful sundowner and bush breakfast, as well a comuni that were simply amazing.
Besides that, thanks to the skill of our guide Sebby and our ranger Yonah we were able to see tree climbing lions even in the rainy season.
Our sincere thanks to Jaak, manager of Ishasha Wilderness Camp, who with mastery organized all these activities in a short time. Besides that, he and his staff, provided us a memorable experience in Queen Elizabeth National Park and Ishasha Wilderness Camp.
We also did a boat trip on the Nile River to Murchison Falls, where we saw various animals such as birds, crocodiles, hippos, elephants and giraffes, always with explanation from the guide who led the tour.
To explore the Murchison Falls National Park we stayed at Baker's Lodge that it's incredible as well.
Know that: For safety reasons, it is not possible to get too close to the Murchison falls during the boat trip. To get a closer view of the falls, it is necessary to arrange another tour involving a short 1 hour walk (which is highly recommended) and a transfer and this needs to be arranged in advance. We were a little confused by this logistics and if you don't know before you make your boat trip, you may have the impression that something was missing from the tour. Because it is only possible to feel the power of the mighty Nile River when you get closer to the falls, and only by boat trip is not possible.
Português Experiência incrível no Parque Nacional Queen Elizabeth e Murshison Falls National Park.
Read moreWe did a tour with Wild Frontiers. Our tour started in Entebbe, headed to Murchison Falls, then back to Entebbe to drop off some of our party, then on to Lake Mburo National Park followed by Bwindi to see gorillas and then ending in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The company arranged everything for us, including the arrival at Entebbe and navigating the COVID regulations, a vehicle, a knowledgeable driver and guide, the lodges we stayed at, as well as the majority of our meals. Everything was planned incredibly well, permits for all the parks were arranged. Wild Frontiers was amazing at accommodating last minute changes to our itinerary’s a result of covid changes in Hong Kong.
Our trip was absolutely amazing, the things we saw and experienced were wonderful, and even though everyone in the party has visited Uganda on multiple occasions we all came away saying we would come back again.
A large part of the success of our trip was due to our guide Moses who was phenomenal, his immense knowledge of the wildlife and his country made for a very informative and interesting journey. He is a skilled spotter and his bird knowledge is outstanding. We were very lucky to have him as our guide.
Thank you to everyone in the Wild Frontiers team who made this trip during difficult times seamless and...
Read moreWe had two boat tours with this company, one to see the bottom of Murchison Falls, and the other to see the other end of the Nile and look for the Shoebill bird. It was fantastic!
We had Moses both times to drive the boat and he was the best! He was friendly and really went the extra mile to make sure we could see various birds/animals as close as possible while remaining safe distances.
One of my favorite memories of the whole trip was when we finally spotted a Shoebill, Moses stopped the boat, brought out some tea and coffee, and we just chatted with him and our guide Denis. It was such a wholesome moment, talking about our different cultures, and forming connections.
Grateful for Moses creating such an unforgettable experience...
