had the pleasure of visiting Notes Cafe in Abu Dhabi and I must say it was a delightful experience. The coffee shop has a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a quick catch-up with friends or even for a solo coffee break.

One of the top dishes that caught my attention was the avocado toast. It was not only aesthetically pleasing but also delicious. The Egg Benedict served with a croissant was also a standout dish, the croissant being perfectly flaky and buttery.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they use Man vs. Machine coffee roaster beans imported from Munich, Germany. This gave their coffee a unique flavor that was definitely worth trying. The staff was also very friendly and helpful, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.

Moreover, I had the opportunity to speak with the owner, Mr. Al Shamsi, who was very approachable and supportive in taking feedback from customers. This shows their commitment to continuously improve their offerings and provide a better experience for...

Simple, basic ambiance - great coffee.

Candidly, I had gone to the area to try out their neighbor (District 10 - which is often mentioned as one of the best coffee shops in AD). That place was closed so instead of driving back 20 kms, I decided to try this place. Glad I did.

The decor is minimalistic and quite basic - which stands out given the exquisite care and attention to detail one sees in other cafes. However - their coffee more than makes up for that.

I ordered a flat white with the Brazilian beans. The coffee was well made - good espresso shot well blended into the milk. Enjoyed it.

I had an unpleasant experience while trying to use the restroom at this cafe. The staff stopped me and began saying I should have asked first. Honestly, if I knew restrooms weren’t allowed to be used without asking, I would have done so but there was no signage indicating that.

There was no parking available, and my wife was waiting in the car while I quickly stepped in to use the restroom. She was planning to order an iced coffee right after. The unnecessary confrontation by the staff was disappointing, especially considering my wife is a regular customer here.
