The Old Library in Dubai stands as a bibliophile's paradise, welcoming visitors with its charming ambiance and diverse offerings. The library boasts a remarkable collection of books, spanning genres and interests, ensuring there's something for every reader. The carefully curated designated slots for free books and discounted gems provide a unique opportunity for patrons to discover literary treasures without breaking the bank. One of the standout features is the expansive children's section, thoughtfully designed to ignite young minds and foster a love for reading from an early age. The vibrant and engaging environment makes it an ideal space for families to explore together. What sets The Old Library apart is its commitment to community engagement. Every Friday, the library comes alive with enchanting storytelling sessions held in the noon. This weekly event not only encourages a sense of camaraderie among visitors but also adds a touch of magic to the overall experience. It's a testament to the library's dedication to creating a space that goes beyond merely housing books; it cultivates a sense of literary community. In summary, The Old Library in Dubai transcends the traditional library experience. It's a place where literature comes to life, offering a meticulously curated collection, special sections for all readers, and a weekly dose of storytelling magic. Highly recommended for those seeking not just a book haven but an immersive and delightful literary escape.

I've been working around Gold and Diamond Park for about a year now and I haven't gone to this part of the area and I should've had! I love books! This one just reminded me of the old school ways of being able to read a book that's trending, a book that you want to read again, or perhaps a book of your interest. I just had my membership earlier and I am truly looking forward to borrow more and read more. As an expat who has a temporary home here in Dubai, I can't really keep as much books that I can so this is a more practical and strategic way to still get to read what I like without worrying a space to keep them. I should say, if you like to read and shy away from the digital media era that's becoming elaborate thing on this planet, visit The Old Library!

Not pleased on our first visit in the Old Library today. I was told by the woman at the counter that “ THEY ARE NOT HAPPY AND COMFORTABLE WITH US ( with my 2 kids) STAYING IN THE LIBRARY AS THEIR PLACE IS NOT A PLACE FOR READING! I was speechless ! and shocked at the same time 🤯🤯🤯 But what to do… stood up as I was sitting on the small chair next to my kid and told them we have to leave.

I apologise before leaving that I am not aware of it … I understand it is a NON-PROFIT facility. This is my experienced. Just sad because NEVER in any bookstores here in UAE we were told off not to read any of their books. My kids love reading, any books they see, hold anything can be read they checked and read!!!

The OLD LIBRARY Dubai show kindness please especially...
