Besh
Besh is a Turkish eatery located inside the Sheraton Mall of Emirates – which is a great place to stay for the reason that it has access to the mall and also because that it has two very amazing dining outlets, one of which is Besh and the other is a sports bar called Brunswick. I had been to Besh around two years ago for a Friday brunch and I still remember how good the food was. They have in-house jams and also an entire dessert room, which was absolutely drool-worthy. You see, that’s how certain places get stuck in your head. Moreover, the quality of food served there is phenomenal and their new promotion, which is a set menu priced at very minimal price of AED 125 – sharing portions for 2 persons, is available every Thursday. Keeping in mind that they also provide their diners with live entertainment, I think this is a steal deal which is why I went back to try it and I was not disappointed at all. Another thing that’s admirable about Besh is that it has an open space kitchen concept, which means you can see your food being grilled in the enormous char grill oven. The hot breads too are all baked in front of the diners and with live music playing in the background, the overall vibes of the place are pretty relaxing. To add to this, they also have an outer terrace which is great, considering the weather these days. Now, coming to the new set menu that we tried, there were six starters in total. I really liked the prawns – so juicy and tender, while the meat sausage was spicy and really nice, and so was the hummus. For the main course, we had the option to choose between mix grill and sea bass, out of which we opted for the mix grill because mix grill at Besh is not only delicious but also comes in a very generous portion. It consisted of lamb chops, meat kebabs, meat tikka, shish tawook and everything was so perfect, even the chicken was so moist and very generously seasoned. I would strongly recommend you guys to dine out at least once at Besh on a Thursday night with your friends or family and have a great time! This offer also includes a dessert and a tea so you may have that outdoors with Burj ul Arab views. Be assured that you aren’t going to be disappointed at all as the food as well as ambiance of the restaurant is really, really nice. Please note, that Besh is only open for dinner as of now and their Thursday night promotion is on till Ramadan, so make sure to get a taste of Turkey via their new menu before that (Prior reservation...
