Part of the beach is closed to dogs over the summer months & is patrolled by a vigorous warden; however you can walk dogs on the other part of the beach to the west. There is a wide strip of grassy land adjacent to the road & caravan park which is ideal for dog walking where dogs can run off the lead in a safe, friendly environment. Along the top of the beach are some old fashioned seaside amenities like crazy golf, tea shops and arcades, but the parking is plentiful. Love taking the kids these sort of seaside arcades but here it's actually hard to spend any money as most of the machines don't work and those that do don't have any prizes on them. Read morePensarn Pleasure Beach is a run down amusment arcade (and NOT a beach!!!) which is presumably named with a nod towards the slightly larger scale attraction in Blackpool. I guess the best thing I can say about it is that it's far cheaper than the Blackpool equivalent.
