We LOVE this beach. +It’s super quiet, peaceful, especially on the stones or out on the sand +Views of Gwrych Castle and Llandudno’s Little Orme +Dog friendly (a plus for us!) +Always somewhere dry to walk, even with the tide in +When the tide is out you a few hundred metres of sand to walk on +Walkable from here (or to here) all the way down the coastline +Coastal path next to the beach is completely ‘tarmacced’ +Drive on beach down to the west! -Costal path is next to railway like and not super attractive on that side…so just look to the sea 🙂 -Drive on beach is a bit rough and potholey (but just go left to the car parks and you’re basically next to the beach but on tarmac!) -Pebble beach only when the tide is in -Not a sandy sunbathing beach -Often find dead dogfish which dogs like to roll on (ironic!)

It's normally one of the quieter places along the north wales coast. Free parking on tarmac and section of pebble beach. There are a number of disabled spaces as well. Note there is a height restriction barrier on the tarmac car parks. There are some various options for eating from small kiosks serving burgers to two dining in cafes. Both offer simple but tasty food. Note both only accept cash no cards of any description. Beach itself has normally just pebbles visable. At low tide there is quite a lot of sand. Well worth a visit and the Wales coastal path is surfaced along this stretch so is very pleasant for a stroll. Note that the facilities are open all year, but some may be closed during the winter months.

Been coming here for 15 years after I happened to fall upon it one day passing by. Ever since we go have gone when possible. You are able to.park on the beach free of charge, walk along the miles of pebbles or the beach itself when the tide is out. There is a local cafe, amusements and ice cream shop etc nearby and is great for a cheap family day out by taking you own food also. Please do tidy up after yourself though, there have been.times many bits of waste have been left and it not only troubles the oceans but makes the scenic view on the eye less appealing. Feel free to contact me for any further questions of the area.

Absolutely fantastic here. I have many fond memories of this beach and local surrounding areas from childhood. Many hours spent searching for the biggest or most colourful one and we lost count of how many my brother and i must have taken home as a keepsake. There are huts to get food and a little arcade. A word of warning though, be very careful where you eat your food, my children and i were going yo enjoy our tea sat on the retaining wall looking out to sea but the seaguls are far from shy. As my daughter placed her tray of chips on the wall to jump up onto it, we were invaded by about 15 or 20 of them, one grabbed the tray and emptied the chips onto the wall and they all just swooped down and ate the lot in seconds. It was a funny experience but quite scarey too as they are quite big, very loud and not at all deterred by humans. We decided to eat the rest of the food in the car. Aside from this though, a good...
