Visited here on a weekend afternoon for a takeaway meal, and a midweek morning for a sit in breakfast. For the takeaway, I'm really not sure the sign outside matched what they were actually offering, nor the prices. I had what I thought was an all day brunch, but after the lady kindly explained the options I'm not really sure that's what I ended up with, and was certainly more expensive than the board. It was OK but for what I was charged would perhaps have expected a little more, particularly with the sausage as sadly to me it seemed quite low quality.

However, they are clearly popular so gave them another try for a sit in meal later that week. They have a sign saying "wait to be seated", although the staff member at the till advised to sit wherever I liked and they'd bring a menu over which was fine by me. They had plenty of breakfast options, so picked what I wanted and ordered. I was able to swap out the black pudding for another item which I was happy with. The food was tasty, but again it was the sausage that seemed to let it down. I wasn't expecting top end at all, but they just tasted on the cheap side. I also ordered a cup of tea, which I noted came in a mug - they charge more for a mug than a cup for info. When it came to paying, sure enough they charged me more than for what I had actually ordered. I didn't query it so as not to spoil the day, but think it fair to mention it. Price wise it seemed more expensive than I was expecting, at nearly £10 for a medium breakfast and cup of tea! I would visit again, but would perhaps be more on my guard to make sure I paid for what I ordered etc. For info, this place DOES accept...

We stopped for lunch whilst on holiday. This is the most friendly place to eat ever. The staff are amazing, so friendly and welcoming. The fish chips' curry sauce was the best ever. Lovely setting.. the staff are so very, very friendly. The girls waiting on and serving go above and beyond to ensure everyone is satisfied and happy during your time there. The staff show total equality and empathy to ALL customer needs. The way we witnessed them serving a regular daily visitor who is disabled was an absolute pleasure to have seen. The girls in question restored my faith in humanity. The none judgmental way they tended to the customer was above and beyond what care I have witnessed being given in care homes. On saying to the girls and staff that they are amazing with the young man at the time their simple answer was " hes part of the furniture in here hes here every day and we love him" !!

My heart burst with pure admiration and and as a nannar too a young disabled boy it restored my faith in humanity to know that hopefully my grandson will feel this love and empathy in such a weiry world we live in... there should be more care giving people around not just for special people but for the entire community. The whole of the staff are all the same super friendly people 🙄

This is now my whole time place too go....xx God...

We visited both at the beginning and at the end of our holiday to Abergele/Pensarn/Towyn/Rhyl and honestly I couldn't recommend this cafe more!

The service was so fast both times we visited, we sat outside on our first visit and it was quick and easy to order with lots of seating options and something for all the family.

On our second visit we chose to sit inside, the staff were so friendly and helpful especially with making sure we were all sat comfortably with being a group of 7, and offered my little one colouring to do whilst we waited for our food. All of the food was hot, fresh, delicious and arrived really quickly! The coffees were also fabulously hot meaning that they were still hot after eating our meals and could enjoy them then! I think the only downside was the lack of vegetarian alternative options (i.e sausages) but this was made easy for our member of the group to swap around the items in her breakfast so she was totally chuffed with what she had!

We purchased ice creams that we eat on the sea front, and gifts from the gift shop that were not overpriced at all!

All in all, a must for families considering a visit to Abergele/Pensarn literally 2 minutes from the train station! We've already said we will all be returning next year when we have another...

Definitely not restaurant quality food, in fact, I am convinced my food was brought in frozen food. Probably the only restaurant thing was being overpriced for fairly average fayre. Today I was asked by the waitress what I'd like. I ordered a panini and she asked me if I wanted salad or chips with it. I asked for chips and no mention of an extra charge was made. The food arrived, it looked average for a cafe, pale but warm chips and the thinnest panini I have ever seen. I ate it, tasted ok but the chips were bland. So, the problem came when I went to pay for the food. I was charged £11.30 for a panini which is £6.95 on the menu and £2.30 for an ordinary but unremarkable mug of tea and a charge of £2.05for the chips!! Really?? When I questioned this, the waitress said yes, the chips are chargeable and it is 'somewhere else on the menu ' and ' we assume everyone knows the chips are chargeable '. She shrugged and said sorry. I won't be going back, I don't appreciate being deceived, the food wasn't that good, it was overpriced. No, not ever.

Absolutely delicious ice cream! The man who served me was really nice and made it a nice experience. We also got a portion of chips which unfortunately was an extremely tiny portion for £3.15. I asked for extra vinegar and didn’t get any vinegar so did let down the rating but definitely recommend for ice cream.

Opens until 5pm, this cafe has been serving takeaway through the pandemic. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there's a good range of food, both to eat now or takeaway for your freezer. My only down point is that one of the ladies was serving ice cream cones yesterday without any gloves on.
