Poor man serving was on his own, initially, and obviously busy (Thursday lunchime). He was very apologetic. It did not matter. The jacket potato was the best I've had in ages. I had a jacket potato with cheese and beans. The side salad was exactly what I'd want: red onion, peppers, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, no dressing, perfect! It didn't feel like a long wait. Toasties were good quality. We sat outside, with our dog. There were plenty of benches and water was provided in bowls for dogs. There weelre several other people there with dogs too. The coffee was so-so, I'd choose a different drink next time. Toilet narrow but good. Would recommend it as a stopping off point if you are travelling through like we were. I use a wheelchair but...
   Read moreAlways a warm and friendly welcome upon arriving. Staff are very pleasant and accommodating. Cheese and red onion panini with chips was delicious as was the decaf cappuccino. Returned this morning for brunch and asked if it would be possible to have a vegetarian large breakfast and the owner/chef was more than happy to do this for me. When it arrived there was plenty on the plate, fresh tomatoes and mushrooms, hash browns and beans and brown toast with real butter. Delicious and filling and a clean plate.    Read moreTerrible customer service and the manager was simply uncompromising, rude and unsympathetic. We travelled all the way from London so our batteries ran out and everybody knows how scary that could be, especially in a foreign environment. I asked nicely whether we could charge our phones there while we dined and were willing to pay extra too. But the manager was extremely unhelpful and turned us away. Needless to say we didn't dine there in the end. We ended up wandering aimlessly until we found a service station Starbucks to charge our phones before finding our hotel...
