Lovely park lots to do , children's play are , many events on during the year . Let down though with toilets that are permanently closed , nearest are over the main road ( not ideal for children ) in a pay and display car park . And also the beautiful old bandstand is now permanently closed , such a shame as musical entertainment is now put on under temporary canvas tents , again...

Sweet old fashioned Park such a shame the council have demolished the bandstand which dominates the middle it's taken the heart out of it. Good park on the edge of the town. Some walk ways but not a sold path all the way round. With a mobility scooter we had to go out and back at different parts. It's a beautiful park with lots to see. The little bridge over the water is so picturesque. Nice places to sit and relax. Plus a kids play area good for families.

Have visited here a couple of times as ideal place to meet up with friends. Good playground with the added bonus of a water play area, which was popular on the hot day we visited. There is free parking nearby, including on road parking (2 hour limit) but short walk to the town centre, and parking.
