We have just come to the end of a 5 day honeymoon in Inverness: We saw that there was a Botanical Garden, and thought to visit after we had been to the Eden Court cinema: we wandered along the Ness road to the Gardens, and were pleasantly surprised to find a friendly tearoom where we had lunch, before venturing into the Garden. Although we are in the middle of January, there was lots to look at, paths led us around twisty little corners of planting, birds, fish.... and the hothouse was a delight of exotic tropical and spectacular Cactus plants; epiphytes, carnivorous plants, amaryllis in full bloom... what a joy! Second, we initially went to the car park for the Leasure centre and from the disabled spaces there was a longer walk than I would have liked, so we looked for the proper road going past the front door. We found we had to take a great detour round the back to get there. Overall though, we'll worth a visit, just try not to need the toilet if you...
