Read moreWe had a great time here today. July. The car park if its a busy day can be a draining experience. If you sit at a picnic table you can be amazed at how some people are allowed on the roads. It is sizeable however. Towards the sea there is a large grassed area and then the beach itself. There are sandy areas and stoney areas. On the day of my visit it was blazing sunny. My 2 Yr old had a whole day's worth of entertainment on the beach. Sun cream was a must. It being so busy there are plenty morons around however which would put me off... People who play LOUD music at the beach are truly distasteful individuals. There was an ice cream van. On return to the car someone had parked 2 inches from the passenger side making entry and child seat access impossible. A very nice day marred by being so crowded...

Do their crew notice me and my black Labrador as we mindfully trudge across the wet sand? Ultimately, It doesn't matter. Our existences are ones of many billions alive at this point in history on this earth in the vast unknowable expanse of space. How many have walked this beach before me, how many will do the same in future, until the end of time? Are we part of just one of an infinite variety of branching universes? Will the dinosaurs come back, if so, when? I resolve to get an ice cream from the van, too much thinking ain't always good...
