Woodlands Cafe is a fantastic spot for relaxation and refreshment, especially after a run along the bay. The location is ideal, offering a peaceful atmosphere where visitors can cool off and enjoy the surroundings. One of the highlights of this cafe is its *convenient parking*, making it easily accessible for both locals and travelers. The environment is welcoming, with *friendly people* contributing to the overall pleasant experience. A standout feature of *Woodlands Cafe* is its free access to *drinking water and milk*, which adds to the comfort and convenience for guests. Whether you're stopping by for a quick break or spending some time enjoying the scenery, this small yet thoughtful amenity enhances the experience. The *clean ocean air* makes this place even more special, allowing visitors to breathe deeply and feel rejuvenated. The combination of *a great location, fresh air, and friendly service* makes Woodlands Cafe a top choice for those looking to unwind by the bay. If you appreciate a laid-back atmosphere with simple yet essential comforts, this cafe is definitely worth a visit.

Went in to get a take away tea, saw the menu and decided to stay for lunch. Glad we did. The menu options looked attractive and we went for Goats cheese fritters and Fishcakes. There was enough food to fill two adults and two not too hungry toddlers. It tasted very nice and we really liked it that the salad leaves were very fresh and crispy. There were pea shoots and some other interesting greens. The bathrooms were good, too - important if you come to Crawfordsburn to spend the day. Just something to note: the website says they close at 4:30 on a Sunday, but it is actually 4 o'clock. When we returned to the cafe for some take away tea and coffee a few minutes past 4, we found the place closed. Overall though a very nice cafe with friendly and efficient staff.

Phenomenal adult food. I had the falafel pitta and it was amazing - loads of different elements and absolutely huge. The ingredients felt high quality and it was really tasty. I was really impressed. If the kids’ food has been as good, it would be an easy five stars. We chose sausage and chips and I expected it to come with some form of vegetable side - it felt unhealthy, especially compared to the adult plates that were full of colour and veg! The children’s menu wasn’t on display so we made a quick verbal choice after asking what was on offer so maybe that’s why I didn’t realise ahead of time.

well now where to start......1st off the person who gave a 1 star review, I hope that you never have a bad day in work, and hope that you are never a little short with someone, clearly you have never been in a mood, lucky you. I don't normally write reviews but I feel that the one star is unfair and unjust. I regularly go here for lunch while babysitting and I have found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful, and again if they have not be heaven forbid that they have something going on in there lives other than dealing with annoying customers. The staff are always great with the children that I bring here love it and have fun with some of the chefs being friendly and playful with the children. The food is always of the highest quality and i recently found out that all the food is freshly prepared on site. When I asked who there suppler was for their tray back and bakery I was informed that it was all made in house and if you look at the pics you will be amazed at how tasty they all look. As for writhing to the trust about someone being rude to you, wise up and get over it "Karen" have a word with the owner or manager and leave it at that. instead of trying to ruin someones lively hood. I will be back and I will again and...

Our group has been going here for years every Sunday after paddleboarding/swimming. Some of the staff are unfriendly but until today, never outright rude. I said I wouldn't be spoken to like that and the waitress had the cheek to follow me to my table and start on me in front of my family and friends, totally ruined my brothers birthday. After our (for the first time, cold + unpalatable food - though the seagulls liked it) I went to get the name of who to write to in order to complain. She started on me again! Turns out she's related to the owner/manager so he wouldn't even listen to a complaint. There were 6 of us today, sometimes there are upwards of 15. Not one of us will be back. I will be writing to the national trust to inform them and hope they take it into consideration when it is up for tender. Such a shame as the waitress who normally serves us is lovely and we always left a generous tip because of her. I work in customer service and would be dismissed if I spoke to a customer like that. They have no such accountability. A fellow customer came up to me outside and he said he was shocked at how she spoke to me and it was his first time there and he wouldn't be...

I called in with my daughter and 8 yr old grandson on 30 Dec. I had the lentil bacon and tomato soup. It was delicious. The wheaten bread that accompanied it was second to none - 2 big generous slices! My daughter had chicken panini which she said was yummy. We both tasted Corey's (generous) portion of chips. They were perfect. - chunky, non greasy and lovely and warm. I had intended having tea after my soup, and took a glass of the cucumber flavoured water on tap with my soup. It was so delicious I had 3 glasses! so I cannot commeny on the quality of the tea, but if the rest of our meal was anything to go by it prob would be ideal too! I am not in the cafe as often as some, but each time I'm there, there is always a nice quiet peaceful atmosphere. This is prob down to the nice decent people who frequent the place (which I guess is mostly all of our society) but it encourages one to go in. The staff on that day were very nice. I asked for wifi connection which I received promptly. We were politely served overall. There was a quiet efficent show of staff clearing tables etc and generally being helpful. I think it's a big thumb's up for the Woodland Cafe....
