Pros: Great free place to go, good for kids and adults alike. Lovely walks through the woods and has a few things for kiddies to play on in one area. Great for picnics, quiet walks, scavenger hunts etc.
Cons: Although you can get a wheelchair through (we had a childs one), it is by no means easy. Deep furrows, muddy puddles, large tree roots and some quite steep trails being the main issue. Also, no toilets anywhere nearby.

Read moreThis is a nice walk there is a car park and several entrances lots of main paths it does get very muddy when it rains its a local hot spot for dog walkers (lots of dogs off leads aswell) and can watch the progress of tadpoles to frogs in the spring It's just a shame they took down the woodland walk path with the interactive wooden animals my kids loved so much often see deer up here and good for riding your bike and making a teepee with the kids there are a couple of benches dotted about but not many and no bins also no...
Read moreBeautiful place to indulge with nature. I suggest going early in the morning at the break of dawn to catch the glimpse of morning nature. You can hear the chirping of birds and I also got some deer wandering. A very good place for hiking and for dog walking. There are 3 trails: blue, yellow and green; each with its own length. The only downside is that you might need your Wellies to deal with mud on a wet day. Otherwise, I would give this place 5 star rating. Amazing display of nature in the heart...
