Absolutely disgusting service! Ordered a prawn dish and got some fake chicken pieces instead! It was a pulp type white meat that was undeniable chicken meat. Told management and instead of trying to fix the problem, he said the meat was prawns! Unbelievable! I said I don’t mind paying for this dish, but you have to charge me for chicken dish instead of prawns. The management even brought out his chef and he too said it was prawns (after some debate in his native language)! I even question if the chef is an illegal immigrant. Anyway the decor is old and dirty, stinks like someone’s done a number too! You have to mask out the smell by getting yourself drunk. I have been visiting this restaurant for about 20 years and the food is always excellent. Went for a meal last week and it is sad that covid is affecting business so much that there was only us and one other family on a Saturday evening although takeaway and delivery business seemed busy. Would have given 5 stars but feel a little agrieved by the charge of over £15 on the bill for drinks (2 bottles of water) and 4 poppadoms. Maybe i am being unjust in challenging their need to make ends meet in these difficult times but personally i would rather see higher prices upfront than a stealth charge on...

I ordered a chicken tikka masala at vindaloo hot and the curry was out of this world. My partner ordered standard chicken tikka masala. We both agree that last night was genuinely the best curry we have both ever had. We have eaten here a few times now and the food is always stunning, however last night it was perfect. The naan bread is also just WOW. 🤤
