Very popular with bees, butterflies, humans and their canine buddies alike. What is disappointing is the 2021 decision to start closing the carparks early. This results in parking on the verge on the main road, which surely increases the risk of people/ doggos getting hit by passing cars? The thinking behind early closure hasn't been shared. Read moreWas lovely here. There is a park for the little kids on the one side of the underpass and a lake where we fed the ducks and swans. On the other side of the underpass is a play area for older kids with a big basket swing, zip-line and wooden climbing structures. We continued up the hill past the park and went for a walk in the forest. Lived in Basingstoke for over 4 years and never even knew this place existed! One thing I would say is that Google Maps doesn't take you to the exact place, so you have to find your way the last little bit...
