I visited three shops in Longbridge Town Centre. There are plenty of car parking spaces by Sainsbury's and also outside Marks and Spencer. Longbridge also has a train station.
Marks and Spencer's ground floor is open during lockdown so you can take advantage of the offers on your Sparks card. Also, until 23 December you could be one of 1000 people to win a £250 M & S gift card. Holland and Barrett is small but packs a punch with a wide variety of health products. They have 'Best Before - Use Later' shelves where you can purchase things at a reduced price because they are sold near or after their recommended 'Best Before' date. They also had chilled ready meals and tubs of what looked like yoghurt, sorbet or ice cream. Boots provides an opportunity to buy beauty and health products. They had a good selection of '3 for 2' offers so you can buy gift sets for your friends and family using your Recognition card. You may find that after all your purchases you have enough points to treat yourself! In the past I have asked their pharmacist for advice as they are well qualified. They can provide advice on generic options for some items on your prescription so you don't have to pay the full prescription price...
Read morea decent selection of shops. Large outside car parking area and some under cover parking in sainsbury. Not many disabled bays and the few there are, are generally used by non disabled vehicles. The centre is fairly clean and tidy. There's an unusual foliage covered wall spanning the upper section of one of the shops and it's great for the birds as well as being aesthetically pleasing. Update to the centre, rollers from sainsbury have a mechanism on the wheels which prevents them from leaving the store. It's a great anti-theft soloution but a nightmare if you've got lots of heavy bags to carry back to the car. The centre is full of youths from the nearby college at certain times of day. Some (not all) seem to just take over the centre with no manners or consideration. While I was there, I witnessed several (youths) shoplifters in a selection of shops with staff helpless to do anything. The bank has now been taken away. Yes, there's an alternative cashpoint but no one there to assist, facilities to pay money/checks in. So for these reasons and other, I'm drooping my rating...
