Bouskell Park — Attraction in Blaby

Lovely maintained park. Brought the dog here for a walk for the first time a few weeks back and he loved the new sites and smells on offer. Huge area to walk around and not get lost. A few people seemed to forget this is an open park accessible for everyone and seemed to be scared of an unmuzzled dog. Their problem, not mine. Although the parking is limited, the park is small but well loved by dog walkers and others. It has the Long Walk, a Scots Pine woodland which has a linear walk through it and it has a Victorian Ice House by a lovely pond/pool. I use this as a start point for walking the dog. I go from here to Glen Parva manor and down the towpath to the old mill and then back via Mill Lane, up between the cemetarys and bact through the long walk. Very pleasurable and...

Lovely park to walk the dogs...children of all ages adults of all ages. Lovely green parkland, ice house, lake, woodland trail car park for about 20 cars and on street parking 3 disabled spots...flat well maintained gravelled paths ideal for people with mobility issues and green space for everyone. Used by locals all the time... beautiful established trees. Always makes my heart sing...please clean up after you and clear your dog poop.... keep it...
