So much more to this place when you stop and park. There is the memorial to the magna Carter and a few more celebrated. I didn't know there is a memorial to the late great JFKENNEDY. There is a new art instalation called the jurors, which consists of 12 bronze seats each with their own design and story. The paths of the memorial walk and the river walk have been modernised to an all weather surface. There is a very good tea room near the Kennedy memorial that serves descent snacks and beverages. There is another outlet at the children's play area end of the river walk serving more fast food with a large carpark. There is a nice river boat trip from Wraysbury to Runnymede and back which is very picturesque on a sunny day. Although it is taught that the magna carter was signed on this side of the river, it is much more likely to have been signed on the otherside near the old Mary priory and the Ankerwicke yew as this is pretty much all that was here at that time except some small farms. This side is much harder to get to with very limited parking but the 2500 year old yew tree is a testament to survival against all odds and...

Not sure the word pleasure is appropriate in the title. It's a lovely location on a bend of the Thames River. Car parks are a little pricey at this location. The car park ticket machine is a real ordeal (must do better) and will be stressful for those not used to technology but it's a good space for families. Very difficult to leave the car park in your car when the main road is very busy with your weekend selfish drivers. On the positive side they have a nice playground for kids, the toilets are clean and they have a cafe for teas and ice cream. There is a classic car meet here every month which really brings the whole place to life and gives it a festive feel however I'm sure someone from the council will ban it at some point which will be a real shame. You are not allowed to have too much fun in...

Had a lovely few hours with friends. My 3 year old godson loved watching the boats go along the river whilst we were having a picnic. We went to the splash park which he thoroughly enjoyed and to the play park which has the basic equipment but is clean and is enough to keep little ones entertained. Ice cream was good, quite expensive as ranges from £2.10 for small tub to £4.70 for a large cone. We bought bags of swan and duck food (£1 a bag at the ice cream hut by the splash park) and fed the geese and ducks. LOTS of them around and very close encounters with them so it was interesting, but we’re animal lovers so weren’t fussed! Parking is paid for after the visit. After 3 hours is classed as all day which is £7.50 so it’s not cheap. All in all a good...

This a super family friendly location to spend a sunny afternoon! There are plenty of spaces and a great place to bring a pic nic. No bbq allowed so do your cooking at home :) If you don’t want to bring your own there are two food/drink locations where you can get plenty of ice cream options and some hot food too. There is good parking options which you pay with RingGo so get the App. You can fish here if you have a license and there is an awesome kids playground along with some pay activities such as mini go kart, bouncy castle and inflatable “sphere thing” (see photo) where the kids need to run on a plastic hamster wheel! If in the area it’s a must go, especially if the weather is great.

Very lovely place to walk by the river embedded in history. The Magna Carta at 800 celebratory monument is exceptionally interesting. The views upto the RAF Memorial are great and the chairs for the magna carta commemoration are quite wonderful. Also along this stretch is the JFK memorial also. There is a cafe with outdoor seating and benches along the Riverside. There is a National Trust car park further up but check if open before going. We were planning to park there but happily tried somewhere new due to the the National Trust car park being closed at that time.

This park is really good for everyone, whether it's big families, the elderly, kids and friends. Lots of space for social distancing and really big parking for loads of cars. There is a cafe where you can buy hot and cold food and ice creams and there is another place where just ice cream is sold. Toilets are big and clean and normally there is no queues, depending which day you go and during what time. There is a playground for kids and seating space everywhere around the park. I would recommend to sit near the water because the views are amazing.
