Food is very yummy 😋 I had lamb with carrots and mash - my favourite, my bf had steak which was cooked perfectly 👌🏼 and the chips were delicious - already salted too. Next time I would love to try the steak!

The only thing that let it down was our waitress was a bit loud and over powering, I was there with my family and she would shout when approaching the table which made my dad jump as he wears hearing aids.

I was also told she snatched the spoons out my dads hands which he didn't like - not sure if she was just joking around but she didn't impress my dad or nan.

When it came to the bill, we as a family never pay the service charge but we tip instead, we made this clear when paying for the bill that we haven't paid the service charge but the waitress came back saying there was still an amount to pay which we then said yes that must be the service charge - she acted offended and then left.

That was a bit awkward but other than that the service was absolutely fine, we was never left sitting around waiting for food or drinks it ran so smoothly and the staff there were very attentive.

The atmosphere is very nice and calm, no rushing around, I would definitely recommend coming here for special...

Came here based on a recommendation. Pleasant venue and friendly greeting however there was a female member of staff who we found to be particularly rude. We first noticed this when our starter came with a main component missing and when we asked about it, she said that's how it came, we said that wasn't what the menu said and she walked off just denying it came with it. (The table next to us was Italian, they got it served the right way). Then we ordered dinner, the pizza came with all the toppings uncooked placed on top which was a surprise. The truffle pasta dish was tasty but 3 of us agreed no truffle taste at all. When being asked how dinner was, we commented on how tasty it was but said we couldn't taste any truffle, well she totally ignored me and walked away whilst I was mid sentence. She then ignored us when we were clearly finished and trying to get her attention to pay whilst she cleared rhe next table who had left. Service in general was poor, we had to ask twice for our second round of drinks. The food was not too bad but not worth the price and...

Well this is an interesting one... from the outside it really doesn't look much, I've driven past it for years and years and I've always been put off by the building. Decided tonight to give it a go and we weren't disappointed. It's a quirky little place, wonderful smells of fresh Italian ingredients, buzzing atmosphere, mixed age group, smiling staff and the plates of wonderful looking food being served. The food menu is so varied and some traditional Italian choices as well. I was slightly disappointed with my homemade crab ravioli. The ravioli itself was a good size but the crab filling wasn't much bigger than a pea and the ravioli was very very firm. The sauce was delicious. Would I have it again? Probably not. The staff smile a lot but they don't engage in conversation, for example when you ask for something or to order they just smile and walk off and you have quite a long wait for them to return.
