This was a surprise location organised by my wife to spend time with the kids. Located just next to Windsor Castle, so beautiful and scenic. Did not feel like I was in London or near the city.

There isn’t facility to do an outdoor Barbeque at the Park, however you can bring your food which was amazing as we ate loads.

Overall it was an awesome memory visiting this location and I certainly look forward to visiting again in the...

This area is certainly a major highlight of Windsor Great Park! A large, varied area of stunning and immaculately tendered gardens. Entry is free but there are fairly steep charges at the nearby car parks. I walked from Virginia Water train station, through the Great Park and got the train home from Windsor & Eton...

The whole of the Valley Gardens is Beautiful at this time of year, with all the Azaleas and Rhododendrons out. Lovely place for a walk, there are also a variety of paths, so we were able to walk around it with a pushchair. We come back here often each year would highly recommend it for a walk.

Great place to walk and is a riot of colour in the spring, with good footpaths leading down to the lake. There's a mobile coffee stand where you can get a cuppa and bacon butty, and toilets nearby. Dogs are allowed but must be on a lead (often ignored by some irresponsible people!).

We were in the area, so decided it would be a place to explore, and I'm glad we did. It's certainly a place we would return to and explore some more. We did a five mile walk around the lake stopping to have a bit to eat near the shore.
