🇬🇧 Virginia Water Day Trip | London's Best Kept Secret! 🌿💦

Lovely park with a huge lake which is a nice walk to go all the way round. Fairly busy but the sun was out and it was such a lovely day you can't expect people to stay home. Decent amount of parking available. Toilets and cafe were closed due to Covid so that could be difficult for children. All in all a good day out, my only bug bear would be the water fall, I have to say I was expecting more from it, water wasn't falling from there , suggesting that its artificial maybe, not sure if this is the case.

Lovely place to visit, especially at this time of year(Oct) with the beautiful autumn colours. Only 2 stars due to extortionate parking charges. The council have even joined in with its highway robbery by putting parking meters on the A30 bays and other parking places which were free before the pandemic. It makes me wonder how they can charge when it was part of the public highway and I have my car tax up to date.

Roughly 4 mile walk around lake. Has a Totum pole, Waterfall, fake ruins, man made lake built for Henry 8th - what's not to love! great for picnics, bike riding and walking your dog - if you have a puppy this is the best place to bring them to socialise with other dogs as you will encounter every breed known to man here. Has a couple of coffee shops - main one at entrance and a smaller trailer one around the lake. Also has beautiful Saville Gardens to wonder around. Car parking is expensive, if local you can buy a...
