Virginia Water lies at the southern edge of Windsor Great Park and includes woodland (some ancient), farmland, meadow, wetlands and a series of waterways included a 2-mile-long lake (a full circuit of which is about 5.5 miles). It can get extremely busy but if you venture away from the more popular areas you can find some peace.
